Q: Is it heavy duty enough to hem or repair denim jeans?

Absolutely, I have done 3 pair of heavy jeans, worked perfectly. Great machine!

Q: Does it come with a walking foot for quilting?

The XR3774 comes with a walking foot.

Q: Is this a fullsize machine? It almost looks like a 3/4 head; don't see a mention of size, only of weight which is light for a fullsize head.

It is a full size machine. This is the first time I've owned a Brother (I used only Singer machines for over 20 years) and I love this machine!

Q: Is this machine dual voltage? (does) the voltage allow up to 220v)

It is not dual voltage, 110V only. I contacted Brother who said I can use a stepdown transformer, BUT they do not recommend it. Still, since I bought this on Amazon and I live in the Philippines, freight back was not something I wanted to lay on anyone. Therefore, I bought a 500 Watt step down transformer to ensure I made the 2 amp requirement for operation. I carefully plugged everything in and all work perfectly. The 500 watt transformer handles things beautifully. My lady loves the Brother and says it does everything she could want. She just made fitted sheets for our bed and they came out perfect. She highly recommends this machine.
