Too shabby for the cost

At this price point things need to tick every box for me. This shawl is very warm, inviting and snuggly, and the color is beautiful. It would be fine if I only wanted to wear it at home. But I need it for long haul travel and it won't work for that because although it isn't overly thick it is too thick to double as a scarf when traveling, so it's not easy to wrap up on top of the jacket to get off the plane or bus and I don't want to walk around looking like I'm wearing a blanket. They should make this design (maybe even a little bigger/wider) with the ultra lite material, that would probably work.

Coziness and warmth are winning ingredients for a great travel shawl. Barefoot Dreams shawl has both of them. It is expensive. But it is absolutely worth the money. Since I bought it, this shawl was my favourite companion during long flights. It also does a double duty as a warm throw during colder months.Big pockets are not really suitable for holding things. They do not hold the shape and stretch too much. However, they are great for warming my hands or even feet if I use the shawl as a blanket (it is big enough for this).I was also very pleased with the ease of care. Even after numerous washes the shawl looks great. There is no felting, shrinking, or peeling. It also stays warm, soft, and cozy. I highly recommend this product to anyone who seeks comfort whether travelling or at home.

This is the best purchase I have made in quite a while. It is unbelievably soft, and just doesn't wrinkle. I use it as a blanket on the sofa. If I don't have a pillow I use it as a pillow for that sofa nap, and then get right up and wear it out of the house.The thing I think I like the most about it are the pockets. If you are handy with a needle and thread, I might do a running stitch along the top of the pocket so they don't stretch too much.I can't say enough great things about this. I LOVE this shawl, but wish it came in more colors that are NOT beige or brown. I ordered the "charcoal", hoping the picture was not accurate, but unfortunately it is! I wish the company would offer a true grey instead of this muddy brownish color.

The best. Use it for travel and as a blanket. Too big and clunky to actually wear as a vest in public, but it's a mandatory item on my packing list for ANY trip. First time around my package was lost and that was irritating as it took quite some time to get my refund, but a few months later when I decided to try again it was all good and I was so so happy to get my item. I would buy everything in the line if I could!

I wanted something lightweight that I could take with me to places that were air conditioned. I was always chilly in theaters, waiting rooms, etc. This is PERFECT!! It is so soft!! And it has pockets!! I want one in every color!! It’s my lovey 😉

Love these shawls. Bought this one as a gift. I take mine on vacation to use in place of a robe and sweater. Also use it as a throw on the bed.
