We were building our house when the house we were living in sold. We moved into a rent house while our home was being finished. We used these all over that rent house for so many things. I hung curtains up with them over the door. It worked perfect as it looked like we had a custom curtain for the door. I used lots of other command hooks as well. We didn't have a single one fail. When we moved, they came off the wall as if we had never been there. I was pleasantly surprised. I used most of them on painted dry wall, some on paneling, and a few on a wooden door.When we moved into the new house, I decided to use Command Strips or hooks to hand every thing. It started in my kids rooms as we seem to have a lot of movement as they get older. We put all kinds of holes in the walls at our last house. Not a single one of my kids has a hole in there wall yet. I hung my daughters chalk board up with these strips. I have hung canvas pictures, paintings, and other decorations. I started in our new house in June of 2013. As of October 2013, they are all still going strong. Not a single failure.We went against the recommendations and hung stuff that was pretty heavy. We just made sure to use extra strips. We have installed Command strips on painted dry wall, wood, and tile.I was skeptical that this would be a viable option. I am so glad I tried them when we lived at the rent house. I have never used any other brand, so I have no idea how they stand up to the competition. But, I will continue to use the Command brand because it is super easy to install, works well, and has lots of uses. I will be putting up my fall and Christmas decorations with them this year and couldn't be happier to not cause all kinds of holes and such in the walls.

I love these things. I rented for so many years. It sucked not wanting to hang things or needed to fix the walls. These guys helped me make my place look good without damaging the wall.RARELY....if I pulled too hard or maybe for some other reason I have pulled off the paint in a small area. Maybe 2 times out of 100 of them.They are easy to put on, and fairly easy to pull off. They definitely hold any regular average weight picture frames. I'd be very skeptical about anything decently heavy though.

I use these to temporarily secure my toll roads pass to my cars windshield. I hate how it looks having these passes always attached to my car, so these black Velcro strips allow me to have a small piece of Velcro at the top of my windshield that practically disappears from view.When I take the tolls, I then attach the pass to my windshield with Velcro then remove it once I'm off the toll road. It works great since the Velcro is strong enough to hold my pass even over speed bumps, through corners, etc.

As always, any product from 3M are great, and these are no exception. Great adhesion, easy to use, but more importantly, easy to remove without remaining marks

Everything I have hanging on my walls is hung with these strips. I live in an apartment where we can't put holes in the walls to hang pictures or clocks or anything. I have never had anything at all ever fall off my walls. When I first started using them I over did it and would put 4 strips on one picture. Now I know better and only use one or two strips depending on the weight of what I'm hanging. I will never use anything else again. And they do come off the wall without damaging the wall if you do as the package instructs. LOVE THESE STRIPS.

Love the new way to hang pictures with these with one exception, they can only be used ONCE. They state it doesn't remove the paint but it did remove a thin layer of old paint on the wall. That only happen one in twenty so it's not bad. These are easy to use and hold firm if you use them according to directions. Much better than the putty or two sided tape. ;-)

The Command Medium Picture Hanging Strips work great! It didn't take nearly as many to hang a picture as I though it would. They hold on well, and come off easy. Some of the pictures have now been on the wall for months without budging even with kids bumping into the edge!

Brilliant stuff for hanging things especially if you don’t want to make holes in the wall. Pictures and notice board have stayed up for 2 weeks.
