Four year old's dream!;) turbo fast fun!:)
Our four year old daughter LOVES this slide! It was kind of agrivating at times while assembling it. We had to drill holes that didn't line up very well. (So I suggest having a drill with drill bits at the ready). Also, the bolts that come with it are a little short. There are a couple of longer ones if you dig through them, and we figured out that the longer ones were to get each section started easier and then we backed out the longer ones and put the shorted ones back in so we could use the longer ones again to start the new sections. (So if you have longer bolts then I suggest you use them when putting the built sections together). We put all of the sections together and then attached the top section to the playhouse we built her. Then we attached the next piece as the instructions said and it went pretty well. But when we got to the point where you attach the last two sections, the holes did not line up at all and we had to drill our own holes and go with it. But it all works well. We dug a hole in the ground at the foot of the slide (before we put on the last piece) and then packed dirt around the end piece we put on and it holds just fine, no wobbling. So we didn't do that last step with attaching it to wood and all that... It's very stable the way we did it. All in all our daughter has a blast!! My husband and I have even been down it too, and it's a little to cramped for us, but we did have fun too:)! It definitely lives up to its name, turbo fast fun!:)

2nd purchase, still great
My granddaughters highly recommend this product. We built a playhouse for our grandchildren about 4 years ago. In October of 2024 our home was hit by a tornado which damaged the playhouse. We were able to rebuild with some minor changes, of coarse with suggestions from our granddaughters. This was the second Swing-N-Slide 7 ft.Turbo Tube Slide. The first one that blew away was Blue and the new one is green. The kids still love it!I will say, the skill level is about a 6 out of 10. Mainly due to the deformity of the plastic and balancing the section while putting together. The tools I used to build this slide:Drill¼” drill bit½” drive socket for drill½” wrench and/or ½” ratchet2 magnet dishes for hardwaretwo screw drivers, used to align the holes so it does not matter the typeWood or locking C clamps could be helpfulI separated everything, the bolts went into one magnet dish, the nuts and washers in another, the panels placed in sets, the base and top mount set aside. The instructions are rather simple. I put each tube section together first which gave me 4 individual sections. That was fairly easy.Connecting the tube sections together was more challenging. This becomes more of a balancing act with each added section. I used a folding table, 4x4 blocks and 2x4 shims to help stabilize the two section I was working on. When attaching two section together, I started with putting in two bolts, one on each side (hand tight). Then put in all the bolts loosely. After all the bolts were in, I tighten with a drill, nut driver and a wrench. I found that some of the holes do not lineup. Partially because the tubes are slightly deformed (oval not round) until everything is put together. If the two holes were close to lining up, I could use a screw driver to align them and then screw the bolt in with the nut driver. This held the sections together until I could put a washer and nut on. If that did not work, I drilled out the hole. The top mounting plate and bottom section went on fairly easy.Installing the slide to the play set. I would imagine this is very different for every installation. The trick was holding everything in-place while making the connection. I cheated, using a skid loader to hold up the slide while making the attachments.Hope I don’t have to, but I would buy again.

Nice slide once installed. Be prepared for missing hardware!
Assembling this slide is tedious and the instructions aren’t the best. As others have commented, the slide sections go together much easier if you let them heat up in the sun before and while you’re assembling. Follow what the instructions say regarding bolts - do not skip holes just to get the pieces together before installing all of the bolts.I’m impressed with the rigidness of the assembly once it’s attached to the playset and supported on the ground. I recommended not digging 3” below grade under the slide as the instructions say at first, unless you need the clearance due to deck height or grade. My biggest gripe with the product is missing hardware. I needed ~ 10 washers and lock nuts, and 2 1-1/2” bolts to complete the install. Luckily I had some on hand to use, but that’s a pretty unacceptable number of parts IMO.

My kids love it. It should last many years.
Not as bad to assemble as I thought it was going to be. I did this by myself which I do not recommend. It was a challenge to get the holes lined up enough to get the bolts installed when bolting together the finished slide but I managed. I did not have to drill out anything. A tricked I figured out was to use sacrificial zip ties through a few bolt holes to temporarily hold parts together. Once a section had all the bolts loosely installed, then tighten them until they are snug.I probably spent 6 to 8 hours assembling and installing. It's not as hefty as a public park slide. The plastic is not as thick but I don't have any concerns about durability. The kit includes some braces to help stiffen it up a little.I, a 5'7" 160lbs person, went down this slide. It's definitely not sized for adults but it had no problem supporting me. My 4 year old absolutely loves it.
