kids Relief Cough & Cold Syrup Nighttime Formula 3.4oz

traditional cough/ cold meds (guiafenessin, dextromethorphan, pseudoephedrine) aren't labeled for use under age 6, so in desperation for my little kids, we tried several of the homeopathic cough syrups. This (and the day time version) is the only one that seemed to work for my kiddos. The store standard Hyland's didn't seem to do much at all. This is way cheaper if you can find it in the store. In TN I found it at Fred's, but since in WA, I can't find it. BUT, I still order this even at the price, because it works. Its hard to squabble over a few bucks when my night of sleep is in question!

I didn't really notice it helping with my toddler's stuffy nose but the chamomile at least might have helped her fall asleep.

Snake oil. None of these ingredients have ever been shown to do anything for your child's cold or cough.

we ran out of our usual Cough & Cold syrop by Hyland's, so this was the other Homeopathic alternative that did not have a heavy color and taste, so we can add it to MILK.

It works excellent in the middle of the night at the beginning of a cold to snug it out along with using the day time formula.

I like it for cough because it is the only brand that last about 7 to 8 hours....most other brand is 2 to 4 hours.What I don't like is it is design for fever so if your child does not have a fever than they will feel very cold and thus may induce more coughing initially then once they sleep it could goe away.WIsh for something just for dry cough that last 8 hours.Yes it does have side effect, -everything does if use it wrong- so if no fever your child will shiver and stomach ache.

Check the ingredients. According to WebMD, some of the ingredients can be toxic and are unsafe to ingest. There is also a class action lawsuit against this company.
