UPDATED Again - After Long Term Use
Last Update: Aug. 2021Replace this set around Nov 2020 with another brand. These weren't great on the 03 Odyssey and didn't last long. The first set on the 03 GS300 lasted over 7 years, had a little life left and the rotor weren't that worn. Replace the GS300 with a set of very high performance products which were at a discount.Would I purchase these for the Odyssey again? Undecided as there are lots of products out there. For now EBC has been the best. Have the rear pads on the Odyssey now with another brand of slotted rotors. The EBC being superior helps the van not to dive when braking.Long Term - After making some suspension adjustments these are still working fine although the daily commute are short and mostly freeway driving. Will see if these will go another summer. Have new sets waiting for both cars but these are still working.UPDATED REVIEW - I purchased this set in April 2015 and installed them 2 years later on the 2003 Odyssey. The previous set purchased went on a 2003 GS300 which was installed around July 2013. I am no longer recommending these after long term use with them. These were great when first installed as I followed their break in/bedding procedure. They had a peculiar sound at first but not bad. What I've discovered is that they seem to last only for a short number of miles before the groaning during braking becomes unbearable. The Odyssey had been driven about the same number of mileage as the Lexus although those brakes were installed July of 2013. They both have lost it's braking power after warming up. Distance has increased and there is a slight but very rapid vibrations after warm up. Most of driving is under 15 miles one way and mostly freeway. Unfortunately, I have to replace both sets now as the weather warms up the brakes has become less effective, excessive groaning and vibration. Sorry, if anyone purchased due to my initial review and are now having problems.OLD REVIEW - This is a second set. The first set went on a 2003 Lexus GS300 and this set is for a 2003 Honda Odyssey. Both have worked well and are still smooth. Been on the GS300 quite a few year 4 perhaps and the Odyssey 1 year. When braking hard it does produce a slight sound due to the holes and slots. The sound is not noisy or a nuisance but it has it's peculiarity like a turbo charger has a particular sound.Would definitely recommend. For all DYI'ers make sure you clean the hub of dirt and rust as it will warp the brakes and cause vibration or shaking regardless of the brand. Honda's are notorious for warping brakes and over the years only factory rotors have been used on all Hondas but this set has worked out well. One star off expecting both sets to be more aggressive in stopping power although they seem better than OEM. One last thing you must seat the brakes per their instructions!!

Good, exep the brake hardware.
It would of been a 5 star, but the btake hardware clips included in this kit dont fit properly, making it extremly difficult to put brake pads, i had to go to autozone and get some brake hardware to finally install pads, this was for a 2003 honda odyssey.

Low quality, poor fit
I got these for my Honda Odyssey. The rotors have a silver paint-like coating on all surfaces, apparently an anti-corrosive coating. The rotors' braking surfaces are significantly textured by cheap machining. They should be smoother. The pads are rough, and came in their plastic wrap with oil/grease smears on the contact sides. I cleaned them with brake cleaner before installing them, but gee whiz, grease on the braking surfaces of the pads? That's bad. With those rough surfaces, the first few mm of pads & rotors will wear and "seat" quickly, which I understand can be the plan. Still, there are limits on how rough they should be to start out.The clips are different from Honda parts, and needed to be shaved on one edge for the pads to fit in. I used sheet metal shears to take a couple of mm off one edge of each. Not only that, but the clips have an extended curl/spring that grips the pads more securely once they're in place, perhaps so the pads are less likely to fall out as you put the caliper back around the rotor, but the curl/spring adds yet another factor of hassle to installing the pads. Next time I'll just cut the curl/spring off.The steel backing material of each pad is slightly "longer" (on the pads' longest axis) than Honda pads, by about 1 or 2 mm, which adds to the installation challenge.I've purchased $100 pads and $150 rotors in the past, as well as $20 pads and $25 rotors for various cars. These PowerStop pads & rotors are the lowest quality I've ever seen, independent of price. I was tricked by the advertising hype, and the convenience of getting them all in a set. They're cheap junk, marketed like high-end "performance" parts.Update – after driving a few thousand miles with them, the rotors smoothed up, and the pads set. The grinding sound the brakes made at low speeds (stopping gently from under 30mph) due to the holes & slots was so loud, passengers asked what’s wrong with the car. It sounded like the wheel bearings were shot. So, I replaced them with regular rotors and Brembo pads.I'll never buy anything from the Power Stop brand again.By the way, I’m a mechanical engineer with a career mostly involved with spacecraft, but I’ve worked on cars (mine, family’s, and friends’) since 1971. I’ve done a LOT of brakes over the decades, on Chevys, Hondas, Toyotas, VWs, Cadillacs, Subarus, Buicks, and motorcycles – Suzukis, Yamahas, Hondas, Ducatis, Moto Guzzis, and even a Hesketh. These Power Stop rotors & pads are in a class by themselves as the worst I’ve ever seen.

Easy install - Updated!
Received my Power Stop kit for my Odyssey yesterday and installed it today. I've performed plenty of brake replacements as a DIYer and was a bit concerned about ordering brake parts online.Power Stop beat my expectations. It appears they are quality products and, more importantly, they were the exact parts for my vehicle. It was simple enough that I allowed my 16 year old son and his friend do the bulk of the work. I supervised, but not having to have the rotors turned and just swap them out made the job go quickly. Even though the boys have never done anything like this, it took them about one hour to do a complete front axle - brake pads and rotors replacement. I may possibly follow up with more info in a week or two to provide more feedback on how the brakes work during a long distance drive.Great service with reasonably priced great products - you rock Power Stop!_____________________________________________________________________________Just returned from a driving trip and racked up almost 600 miles after installing the new brakes. Drove in very wet weather, but the brakes worked great! These new rotors and ceramic pads seem to provide much better stopping power than the original brakes/rotors.Can't express enough how pleased I am to have made the decision to purchase and install these brake parts from Power Stop. I will first check with Amazon and Power Stop when replacing the brakes on my other vehicles. Thanks Amazon and Power Stop. I'm a happy customer!
