Nautica Men's Woven Mediterranean-Dot Robe

I got this because I'm moving to Miami in a month and I needed a good, light summer robe. It's perfect! It's stylish, lightweight, and comfortable. If you're looking for a robe to keep you warm when it's chilly, this is not what you should get. I also got a pair of pajama-esque shorts to go along with it because when you sit down it opens up. Oh and the sizes run a bit big, I'm 5'10", 160 lbs and the small/medium fits me well.

I bought the small/medium for my 101-year-old dad who has shrunk to 5'7" and weighs 145 pounds and it fits him perfectly. The robe is light but not flimsy. It's easy for him to get in and out of even with his stiff old joints and over his flannel Penny's pajamas that he wears all summer. It is beautifully made and is very classy looking. The pattern and design are beautiful. Dad wears it with pride. The other choices from other companies were terry cloth and plush bathrobe stuff, so Nautica has the niche of quality summer robes, and a fine garment they make. Couldn't be more pleased.

The robe seems to be well made and it looks great but the fit is slightly too small. I am not a big guy, 6' and 200 lbs so it is not a problem caused by excessive girth. It fits well enough to keep.

I picked this up last year when it was just too cold to go from the shower to the bedroom in but a towel. The fabric isn't terribly thick, but it's certainly enough coverage for my needs. Then when summer rolled around, I was glad it was so thin so I didn't start sweating while making that same trip.

The robe was as described. I ordered a large/X-large for my boyfriend who is usually a medium/large 33 waist and it fit him well, however the arms were a little shorter than we expected. The design was as is shown in the picture, however the quality is not as great as we had anticipated. The fabric is very thin and not very soft. Definitely not the kind of material I would expect in a robe. For what I paid I would have thought it would have been a little thicker. However, the shipping time was great and it washed up well.

Bought the robe based on a Nautica purchase years ago which I have about worn out. Tag on both is identical, made in China, 100% cotton. That's where they part company. Number 1 has been soft and comfortable from the beginning. The new one is not soft and sounds like a paper sack. I tried washing multiple times, cold water, tumble dry. Same paper sack sound. With nothing to lose I tried boiling it on the stove. I thought it might have sizing or some other chemical added to keep the shape (shape on a robe?). Result...still paper sack. I can't believe it is made of cotton unless China has a developed a none biodegradeable form of plast-ti-cotton. With a land fill half life of probably 10,000 years, burning would be the only way to dispose of this product.On the bright side this has been the only failure we've had from Amazon and in this day and age that in itself is a record of sorts.

Nice material but fit was too small. It actually barely wrapped around my husband who is a 36 waist pant.

When I looked for men's robes, I was shocked at how much they cost. And, I was getting frustrated at not being able to find a lightweight robe for summer. When I found this robe on Amazon and read the reviews and saw the price, I was sure that this was the robe I wanted for my husband to wear when our granddaughters spend the weekend and share Grandpa's bathroom. He tried it on when it came and it looks good on him. It fits nicely and is well made. I'm really pleased that this purchase worked out so well and so quickly.
