Great training aid.
I found this to be very helpful in teaching you to release the club through the ball. You can definitely identify when you are doing it correctly. It also keeps you focused on what is going on in front of you instead of moving forward and looking up too quickly.

Works well enough
This works well enough. I'm working on correcting a severe slice with my driver. The ad shows that the ball will clearly show that it is pulling right or left. I found this not the case the angle was of the ball rotation was very slight. I found it still useful to practice swing. It is built very sturdy and its simple!

Great Way to Practice at Home!
I've read a lot of reviews and was concerned with a few complaints regarding the quality of the trainer, specifically breaking the swing arm, turf coming loose and even drivers breaking at the shaft.I'm still a newbie to golf, and up until the past couple of years, I might have golfed 2 or 3 time a years. Bottom line, I have an erratic driver swing and I'm working on a few bad habits, one which is chopping down on the ball. If someone is going to abuse this trainer, it's me! I have beat the hell out of this trainer, cringingnumerous times thinking something should've broke on that swing, including my driver's shaft. Nope, nothing has broken or come loose yet, I've only had to straighten out the connecting swing arm tether a few times. I've been using this trainer every time that I walk by it, and my set-up and swing is so much better. I'm no longer beating the trainer up, it definitely survived a rough period, if it were to break, I know it's on me! If you don't mind dropping a $160, I highly recommend this unit, catch it on a 20% discount sale (right now). BTW, I ordered spare parts with the belief that I would break something, which apparently I don't need, at least not yet. If you have a controlled swing, then you'll only need to buy the spare practice balls (set of 3) every great once in awhile.

High Price, Decent Quality, maybe worth?
This is a great idea, executed moderately well. If you want a way to practice your swing indoors with real clubs and physical ball this is a great option. However, there are several caveats. First, the ball doesn't feel like the real deal at all; it has a rubbery plastic feel and is kind of soft. It takes some time to figure out how exactly you hit it and if you made good contact. Also, try your best not to hit the white stick holding the ball up, if you hit it hard enough with a golf club, it will permanently bend (Do not hit with wild swings! Especially if you are beginner level). I think this product shines most when practicing with irons and wedges. The mat is pretty high quality, it is heavy enough so when used in conjunction with the floor mat it may move a bit with a good amount of large swings. Otherwise, it will stay in place. However, I discovered that the grass turf slowly seems to come off, a few strands at a time. When you swing a club you hit the mat as well, which seems to be giving the artificial turf grass a little haircut.Overall, this product definitely helped my swing by giving me the ability to practice all I want indoors, just takes getting used to. But of course, I can't really tell how I spun the ball which is a big factor. Buy this if you are committed to golf and want an option to practice some elements of your swing in your own home. Don't buy if you want a real authentic experience, this is a gadget - nothing more.Edit: after hundreds of swings, I’ve discovered that the glue holding the turf down is slowly coming off and the turf is drifting to the left. Do not chunk the ball too often.Edit 2: After long term use, turf is literally starting to come off as a whole; the adhesive is not holding on... Buy with cautionEdit 3: Had to use some super glue to stick that turf down. Also, I've been trying to straighten the stick back as it gets warped. Still overall great option to practice your swing indoors, just questionable quality for this price ($160).Edit 4: Mat came straight off after I chunked a bad shot. Was able to get more super glue at a greater quantity. Still works I suppose.

Broke my club
Snapped my driver on the third swing. Returned because I’m terrified of breaking another club.

Excellent product!
I bought this for my husband for Father's Day, and he has used it nearly every day since (my son and I use it too!) I really think it has helped all our golf games. Easy setup, doesn't take up much space at all, pretty much stays in our foyer, and we have a couple of clubs tucked in the corner for easy access when anyone wants to take a swing. Highly recommend.
