MX Group 10.5kw Inspiration QI Electric Shower -All Chrome

The shower worked well for a while and then suddenly stopped working with 9 months left on the warranty. I contacted the MX Group who were (initially) very helpful. However, when I described the fault symptoms to them, they couldn't diagnose the issue remotely (as an engineer myself, I'm happy with that) - put simply, there was no hot water at all from the shower. They wanted to send an engineer do carry out a site visit which I was more than happy with. However, they wanted to know the COVID vaccination status of my family before they'd attend - Really??? My medical information/status is no business of theirs at all, and I was content to socially distance from them in my own home as required. As I refused to disclose confidential medical information to them they refused a site visit. In lieu of that, they sent me replacement (second hand) shower which also became defective within a day. Due to both showers having the same issues, they then blamed high water pressure as the cause; their diagnosis was done remotely despite them being unable to remotely diagnose the initial issue; mmmmmmmm ....After over 7 weeks without a shower in the bathroom, I was forced to buy another unit because the MX Group refused to meet their obligations. The replacement Mira shower has worked perfectly since installation and it has EXACTLY the same operating limits as the MX shower i.e. 1-10 bar operating pressure. Their remote diagnosis was random and subjective and I'd honestly stick to Mira showers from now on. Never again .....

We bought this as a replacement for another shower that had broken. The shower is very stylish and looks great when mounted. The installation was very straightforward, the shower has a range of options available for both water and electrical connections which made the process go smoothly. The shower provides a good flow of hot water for showers and seems to be coping well with the reducing temperature of the water feed as the weather gets colder. The shower provides a range of options, which work well and can give quite an invigorating shower, really happy with the product and would recommend if you are looking for a stylish, yet not too expensive shower.

Thought it would be more powerful with it being a 10.5
