I bought these to wear to bed with a moisturizer to soften my feet. I like the open toe which makes them a bit cooler, but they tend to slip off while sleeping so I wear a footie and that does the trick. I would like them to be a bit wider, but they work fine for my purposes. I can't speak to the claim of pain relief, as I don't have that issue, but I don't think I could walk around in them all day as I think they would be too slippery inside a shoe.
