Makes some great coffee!
The grind from this coffee grinder is excellent. I like a course grind. I got one of those basic electric grinders. There would still be whole beans when the majority of the coffee was the consistency I was looking for. This grinder is very consistent. I only use it for single serve and I think more than two servings would be too much to grind. The way I do it is. Put it flat on a surface then turn the crank till is sounds like nothing is being ground. Then shake it back and forth and grind again. Keep this up till when you shake it you don't hear any beans. Originally I just held the grinder and cranked. It took way longer because the beans would bounce away from the gears. You can take it apart to clean.

Easy assembly and ground size adjustment
I found this device simple to use, easy to change the ground size depending on what I was using it for (drip coffee, cold brew, espresso), and since it comes apart completely it was easy to clean as well. Good for the price, especially for 1-2 cups of coffee (more than that and it's tiring to keep cranking manually to grind the coffee).

Great grinder - would recommend
Excellent grinder with a few minor flaws – would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Definitely recommend.Produces enough ground coffee for 2-3 normal sized cups of coffee (12 ounce) with 3-4 minutes of grinding. Produces a more consistent grind than either an electric grinder or your neighborhood barista. On top is the “bean hopper” where you put the whole beans to grind, and below is the glass jar receptacle to catch the grounds. The hopper can twist off the jar receptacle, and there is a separate jar lid you can twist on to keep your grounds fresh overnight. The jar receptacle holds enough grounds for at least a pot and a half of coffee, probably closer to two. There are a lot of good things to say about this grinder, and a few things that could be improved.Pros:Consistently ground coffee. The separate jar and lid to keep the grounds fresh overnight. The jar receptacle has a rubber base to keep the grinder from sliding around while you grind. The jar receptacle is glass so you can easily see how much you have ground. The bean hopper has a rubber cover to keep the beans in while you grind. The grind adjustment is fairly intuitive and easy to adjust. The satisfaction of hand grinding your own coffee to your own specifications.Cons:The handle is too small. I have average sized hands and have to grasp the handle by my fingertips. A more ergonomic handle would be a significant improvement. The bean hopper doesn’t always feed beans smoothly into the grinder – sometimes the beans hang up and you have to shake the whole thing to get the beans to drop into the grinder. A better design there would be helpful. The nut holding the handle in place comes loose easily while grinding. A small lock washer would add pennies to the cost and would be a big improvement.

Easy to fill, easy to use, easy to empty
It does take a while to grind enough beans for a full pot. The consistency of the grounds is good, and the coffee tastes great.

Simple, Clever, Stout.
I have been eyeing this coffee grinder for years. In the interim I had used a variety of grinders that were less expensive or more stylish. All of the previous grinders for various reasons never lived up to my expectations. I finally allowed myself the small luxury of purchasing the XIBLISS. I have been using it almost daily during the pandemic and it has been a sold coffee companion. The consistency of the grind and the ease of use have conspired to make the process a near daily ritual. I use a coarse ground coffee for French press and find the minute or so of manual operation meditative.I only have one gripe regarding the grinder. The crank arm is secured to the grinder by a threaded finger tightened nut that occasionally works its way loose. It is pretty obvious when the loosening starts to happen and I just since it down.

Recommended for coarse grinds
I like having a bit of manual effort in the morning to get the blood pumping, and this works for that purpose. Grinding for two cups of french press just takes a few minutes.Naturally, the amount of time it takes to grind will directly relate to how fine your grind is, so I would only recommend this for more coarse uses - french press and possibly drip.In hindsight, I would prefer having a second jar, so that I could store a few grinds, or re-grind a batch by pouring one jar through to the other. This doesn't support that but there's another version mentioned in the Q&A which includes a second jar.

Fantastic Value and Quality
I've enjoyed using this grinder. It comes completely apart so you can clean the ceramic burrs and it evens comes with a nice wooden brush for you to use. It is adjustable and definitely produces a consistent ground (as opposed to chopped consistency). I'll use this for travel and at home, instead of buying the expensive electric grinder I was considering. In my opinion all the electrics are unreliable anyway and you get lower quality burrs because you are really paying for the electric mechanism in the machine. This only takes like 2 minutes to grind enough for a pot of coffee and it's actually enjoyable for me. And it smells good. And it makes your coffee taste delicious so totally worth it! The handle is screwed on securely and the motion of it is easy. Great buy!

A very sheer - coffee grinder.
Okay, why in the world would this listing ask me to rate on "sheerness?" Well, the glass jar is transparent so that's pretty sheer. It's a good coffee grinder, sturdy and easy to use. Worked great on other items as well, like cinnamon bark chips. Easy to control the grind, easy to clean.
