Puzzle Pendant Lamp Shade - Cherry Blossom DIY Jigsaw Lampshade - For Hanging Ceiling Light or Floor Lamp - Diameter 15.7" (40cm) - White

This beautiful light shade bailed me out of a sticky situation in that a broom I was using, when I lifted the handle into the air after washing the head in the sink, broke the original glass globe to this light fixture. Due to the fact this is my daughter's rental and I'm petsitting, I kinda panicked because the original globe was tapered and screwed to the fixture in the middle, impossible to find a replacement. I spent hours on the internet trying to figure out what would fit. I went ahead with this shade because I trusted I could make it fit it over the hanging socket, though I did have to make the hole at the top bigger by an 1/8". It comes with 1-5/8" opening. Then I had to secure it on with twine, but IT WORKS and looks stunning. Prettier than what was there before, so I'm saved. The assembly is relatively easy. Instructions are clear, and the individual pieces are well numbered, so don't not buy this because you don't want to assemble it. The only hard part is if you have arthritic hands, it may hurt. There's a lot of fine motor skill work. Since I had to gerry-rig it onto the hanging socket, I saved the top rows for when I already had it on the fixture. That worked just fine. The white pieces are a heavy plastic, not at all flimsy, but use LED anyway, not incandescent because of the melting factor. There's a small hole at the bottom, enough to fit a hand up to change bulbs. I'm very, very pleased with this shade. Now it'll be a surprise for my daughter when she gets home and not something I regret to tell her what I did.

This is actually a really nice lamp shade, especially for the price. Requires assembly, but the parts are sturdy and directions/numbering are easy to understand.

Fun to put together and so many different shape options. I put a colored blub in this to really set the vibes. I get a lot of compliments on this light :)

A while back I had purchased a globe pendant light to hang over my kitchen table. The glass always stayed smeared and I didn’t like it. The nature of the fixture made it difficult to find a replacement globe. This was so simple to assemble and even though I hung it upside down, it is perfect. I love the unique look it brings to that space. Thinking outside the box was a winner!

Took some assembly, but the assembly isn't difficult once you understand the process. I think it took maybe 20 minutes to assemble.It looks really nice once it's assembled and installed.Note that this does NOT include any lamp hardware, so you'll need to pick up a pendant light kit from Home Depot or Lowe's or Bezos.It looks really nice in our entryway, and the light is much more diffuse and softer than our older chandelier fixture.The only real downside is that from up close it looks like plastic. That's because it's made of plastic.But from further away it looks like glass. That makes it fancy.

kwmobile also sells infinity puzzles, those lamp shades made of identical flexible plastic pieces that you slot together to make a big sphere. If you've ever put one of those together, fear not! This one is SO much easier!I'm glad I put one infinity shade together, but never again! It's a nerve wracking exercise, very easy to make a mistake part way then have to undo an hour of work and start again. And the end result is fairly fragile -- when you try to insert a bulb+pendant cable/rod there's constant terror that the whole thing will fall apart.In contrast, this pineapple is very easy to put together; just follow the instructions exactly as printed. You don't have to be especially dextrous or good with your hands, and as soon as you see the pattern it's a fairly mindless exercise. The end result is not quite as mesmerizing as an infinity shade, but it's still pretty damn sweet! And best of all, it has a nice large hole for the insertion of a bulb. You can even fit inside there a socket splitter allowing you to pack in two or even three bulbs (obviously use LEDs so the heat is not too much) if you need a brighter light.Pro tip -- if you find that the hole at the top is too large for your particular pendant light fixture, go to a hardware store and look for a washer with an inner hole that will rest against your pendant fixture, and outer diameter larger enough to hold up the lamp shade.

I previously used the "classic" puzzle type pendant as a light fixture over my deck table. The plastic design let me take it apart and scrub the mildew off every year. When we needed a pendant for inside our barn shop, I looked for a similar product that we could take apart and clean, versus needing to throw out like the paper type. I also love that this looks a little like the PH Artichoke lamp. The pieces were clearly labelled and everything went together easily, it just took some time sitting on the sofa watching tv and clicking pieces together. I suspect if you were to mount this outside somewhere that gets a lot of wind, and took it apart and put it back together often, you'd eventually have pieces start coming off, but in a low wind area, gravity should keep it where you want it.

Didn't initially for my lamp post but after modifying, it's great. Easy build but takes some patience.
