Easily customize embroidery projects with Sulky's water-soluble stabilizer roll
I've been using the Sulky Solvy Water Soluble Stabilizer Roll for my embroidery projects, and it's been a game changer. The roll is easy to use and can be cut to any size, which is great for customizing to my needs. The water-soluble feature means that I can simply wash it away once I'm done stitching, without any residue or damage to my fabric. I also appreciate that it's sturdy enough to hold up during embroidery, but still easy to tear away after washing. Overall, I highly recommend this stabilizer roll to any embroidery enthusiast looking for a reliable and versatile product.

Try it wet, goes farther!
Bought for wife, she say's: "I bought this for machine embroidery thinking it was iron on, OOPS. But I discovered that dissolving a yard of the stabilizer in hot water, put it in a small spray bottle and sprayed the fabric AFTER I put it in the hoop. Then let that dry in front of a small space heater. That made the fabric tight as a drum and very stiff. I always had issues getting the fabric tight enough on the hoop, but this way it shrinks a little as it dries and tightens it that way.Actually I was able to do more embroidery with the spray than with it dry and tacked onto fabric! So it turned out to be of good value. And my machine did better embroidery with the fabric being stiff from the spray RATHER than stitching or ironing the Solvy to the fabric. So I was pleasantly surprised. I actually like this better than ironing on stabilizer, or stitching stabilizer to fabric. And after your done just throw it in the wash to remove stabilizer. Instead of having to pick at every stray piece of tear away stabilizer that is left on the fabric after embroidery is done. Which I usually had to use tweezers to get all of it lol, but this way I don't have to worry about the embroidery looking sloppy from the tear away stabilizer scraps left behind."

Washes away when done!
Use this Sulky Solvy Water Soluble stabilizer whenever you are machine embroidering anything with a nap, like towels, fleece, etc. The solvy holds the nap down while the machine embroiders so there is not "poke thorough" of fabric while embroidering. If you have a baste-in-the-hoop function on your embroidery machine, you should baste this down on top of your hooped fabric and stabilizer. If you are embroidering stand alone lace designs, you will want to hoop at least two layers, depending on the density of your design. Most of the time the extra stabilizer just pulls away from the stitches when you are done. I would recommend removing as much excess stabilizer as you can before washing your finished product. It is easy to use, and is a light film. When washed it is completely gone from your embroidery. Every machine embroidery owner needs a good water soluble stabilizer and Sulky has one here.

I use this all the time when I embroider...
I used this all the time. Whether I am using this on a fabric that has a heavy nap, and need a double layer, or I am using it alone and still use two layers for making my own patch for a decoration alone as itself. It is easy. This was a good price in itself. I have priced it in stores and have not found it cheaper. I go through this stabilizer like it is water. I really think that anyone who is just beginning to learn to embroider, there should be a beginner package of stabilizers with a video of how to use these together with the fabrics and the proper threads out there so that they can know what to use and understand their machines. Then they will not get "caught" up like I did in the beginning. This would be a great part of a beginners kit for sure or even part of a wonderful sewing kit for that special someone out there that sews all the time. I know I would love it....

Embroidery pattern transfer!
This is the first time I've used this product and it was great. So many easy to follow videos on youtube. The one thing it didn't do was stick to the fabric but I'm not sure if we bought the right type for that. As soon as you start stitching, it stays in place no problem. Great way to transfer the pattern without having to worry about disappearing ink, etc. I will use this a lot more.
