Not sculpting with yoga, but yoga and then sculpting with weights
I must admit I am disappointed. I was very excited to find a book on body sculpting with yoga as I would love to combine weightlifting and yoga. Weightlifting alone has stressed my body too much lately, and I could feel great only after practicing yoga. I miss strenght training though and was hoping to read in this book about combining those two discicplines. I was expecting more of yoga poses with weights, incorporated in a fluid way - more of routines that can be found on DVD - Yoga for weight loss for beginners with Maggie Rhoades. Instead you can find here yoga poses and weight lifting exercises separately - as bench press, rows etc, and then descriptions of the routines that have those exercises included, usually first yoga poses and then exercises with weights.There's nothing wrong with it, and maybe beginners on both topics will be satisfied with this book, but having 30 books on yoga and 20 on weighlifting I don't need anoher book describing those exercises separately.I can make such routines on my own, practicing yoga asanas first and then proceeding to weighlifting.There's just nothing innovative here!Well, I just think the title of the book is misleading. This is not body sculpting with yoga.This title would be more accurate for any power yoga DVD or book..The book has some info on cleansing the body with diet which I found quite usefull. That's why I give a book 2 stars.

A great and inspiring book
A great and inspiring book. The pictures and the descriptions of the poses are first rate. This book is the real thing, not a gimmick, and has already helped me immensely with my chronic back ache. I highly recommend it.
