Simple Flavor Women's Floral Summer Midi Dress Vintage Evening Dress Short Sleeve

I liked the length of the dress, perfect for the occasion I used it for. Also, it shaped me on the waist very nicely. It was very well stitched. The fabric is a kind of thin and maybe a little bit see-through (I used a top underneath just in case). Got a lot of compliments for it tho!!

I'm actually impressed with the fit, looks good, I just wish it was a couple inches longer. I'm 5'8"/5'9", it comes about to the bottom of my knees. But the reason I only give it four stars instead of five is the fabric. It's totally synthetic, I can't remember if the description claims there's some cotton in it but believe me, there's not. I wouldn't wear it to an outdoors event in the summer, I'd sweat to death. Wouldn't wear it dancing or anything like that. I suppose you could wear it to work all day if you sit at a desk in a nice, cool office. Otherwise I would just wear it to some simple, short (maybe 2-3 hours) event that didn't require any physical effort causing me to sweat. I just don't want to be in a synthetic dress for that long. On the bright side, it's not see-thru.But it fits good and looks about as good as I could hope for -I'm a bit "older" and don't have a perfect body but I'm fussy about how clothes fit me. I've probably ordered 8-10 dresses from Amazon over the years and I've only kept two, this is one of those. It's a good dress.

Unfortunately this item is not prime eligible so I had to wait about 3 weeks to get it but I loved it ! The material is thinner than expected but so great for summer. I loved the color. A lot of people not only complimented the color the but style as well. Super modest and cute. I really liked the fact that it tightened a little bit at the tummy area so I felt secured. This dress is soooo comfortable and has POCKETS! I did size up though, reviews said it may be to small. The reviews were correct. It’s pleated at the waist and falls right beneath the knee. I usually wear a large purchased an XL.

This dress was one of four dresses that I ordered in hopes one would do the trick for a particular event. This dress was also one of the four that was put directly back in the bag after trying it on. The fit was as expected. I am 5’9” weighing 160-165 lbs. I normally wear an 8-10 or medium but sometimes large depending on the cut. I wear a 34-36DD bra size. I went with the large and it was fine. I expected I’d better go up to be on the safe side of the size chart. My issue wasn’t with the fit or even the quality of workmanship (it does seem hand made, there wasn’t even a tag) my issue is with the fabric. What so many reviewers call “great”, “excellent” and “fabulous” feels like the skirt of a bathing suit I used to have. It is unlined and thin and just atrocious. You do get exactly what you pay for. I try to be positive and yet honest with my reviews but these four dresses have pushed me over the top of negative. The standard was so very low on this one.

I think this dress would be good for spring and summer. The fabric is not what I was expecting, but the style and cut of the dress make up for the material. The best way I can explain it is kind of like a cloth shower curtain or microfiber bedsheets. The dress is noisy when I walk if that makes sense. It's very thin material and see through.You'll want a slip or tank top and biker shorts under this dress.It does have pockets, but putting the phone in my pocket caused the dress to pull down and shift because of the weight of the phone.As far as sizing, I'm 5 foot 10 inches, 185 lbs. I normally wear a US size large or size 12. I ordered this in an XL. It is a little loose on me. I should have ordered the L instead. That might have helped with the shifting with the phone in my pocket.

I absolutely love this dress. I received so many compliments. I got size large I weigh 140 pounds and height 5’0. I normally use medium but large for perfect. Very fresh material and good quality. Love the pocket on the side.

I was not even going to try this one when I pulled it put of the package but did for the review. The fabric is terrible. Whoever said you could wear this for a wedding lied. The fabric is completely sheer. The seams are thin. I already submitted the return. I will tell you that it is not uncomfortable but you will need to wear something underneath so it won’t be “cool and comfortable”. The colors are beautiful. I ordered the one labeled beige with the burgundy flower pattern. I weigh about 175 and ordered an XL and it fits. The shoulder length of the dress is too long with the start of the sleeve landing beyond the top of my arm. I have a long torso and the waist landed correctly which would be good for me but both these conditions are not good for a person more stout. The bottom lands below my knee. I’m a D cup and the dress fit nicely around my bosom. I really wish the fabric didn’t feel like costume fabric. It would be great but it’s not. Certainly not worth the $26 for me. With my patience, I could get a similar dress with quality material for about the same price.
