I got this when I decided to rip out the builder's Cat-5 in my 5 year old house and do it right with Cat-6. I never did like the way the builders did things. Since I didn't need more than 12 runs, this was the most cost effective one I found, and it did a great job. Came with plastic cable management ovals for the back, one on each side, that snap on or off easily enough. Was very well spaced out in back, and very easy to punch down each group of wires. Inexpensive and worked - can't ask for more.

Inexpensive, comes with brackets to fit into a standard rack. Secure punchdowns, trouble free performance. I have two of them mounted one above the other in my network closet feeding my whole house.

I can't find any realistic way to mount this. It looks like a nice piece of hardware, but you better have a rack that's able to handle the 10 inch width.

Great, easy to use. Fit nicely in small space. I used the TRENDnet punchdown tool ( TRENDnet Punch Down Tool with 110 and Krone Blade TC-PDT ) with Krone blade which seemed to work better.

No complains. Easy to manage, working as spected.

I found that 2 of the ports seem to not function properly. I used this to run security cables into and then jumpers from the patch panel to the security box. After replacing cables I found that 2 ports didn't seem to function properly. The ports that work fine do work.

Not a bad price, but 12-port units are not much more. Went with this since I was mating it to an 8-port switch. Not any extras included (not really needed though). Build quality seems good and it works as advertised.

Amazon is [unhelpfully] bunching all the Trendnet patch panels together creating confusion. My review only applies to the 8-port and 12-port patch panels. The patch panels themselves are high quality and I would rate them well. The problem is mounting. Unlike the larger patch panels the 8 and 12-port models are only 10inch wide, do not include adapters to fit a standard 19in rack and also do not include a mounting bracket. Have you ever seen a 10inch rack? Me neither and after calling Trendnet I learned they don't even sell a bracket that you can use to mount this. Sure you can go the hardware store figure something desperate out, but why put yourself through that. For instance I took a 1u rack, cut it into two pieces with a hack saw, then adjusted that to be 10inch wide, drilled holes through it and mounted it to the wall. That was a lot of hassle for a $20 patch panel. Other brands include a mounting bracket for roughly the same price. I wish I simply ordered a different brand that included the mounting bracket. You can learn from my suffering. If you need the 8 or 12-port model order a different brand. If you need the larger patch panels, then the Trendnet's are great because they're standard 19inch rack sized.

Rien à dire sur le temps de livraison, à part parfait. C'est le deuxième que j'achète pour compléter mon installation. Très facile à cabler (il faut juste un outil spécial pour enficher les fils, que j'avais déjà). Produit fiable, solide, et pratique avec encarts pour mettre les noms des ports.

Not exactly wall mountable... does NOT come with a wall bracket. Otherwise it is ok..

I bought this to wall mount some Cat7 I had ran in my home to keep the finish clean. The quality is excellent. The frame is solid, study metal and the punch form on the back is well arranged so that each twisted pair is together. Shielded connectors for just fine although bear in mind this is cat 6 so you won't benefit from the shielding. There are cable supports that can optionally be mounted on the back to give the cables some support. I bought mainly due to price being good and we not disappointed.
