Will Rust. Don't Buy
"Military Grade Stainless Steel" that started to rust after being put in the dish washer the first time. I love the travel pouch but the silverware is nothing special at all. I should have just brought my normal flatware from home to work instead of buying this.

Light-weight, Compact, Easy to Use & Clean.
I haven't used these for camping yet, but use them at work on a daily basis, whether I'm bringing my own lunch, or I get something out of the vending machine and they've run out of plastic silverware. It's light-weight and compact so I just keep it in my bag with me all the time. If I am able to get out camping again, I'll definitely be purchasing a few more sets to go around the camp fire! Some of the other camping silverware are all attached and either cannot be disconnected or are not always so easy to disconnect. These are obviously completely functional like normal silverware, just much lighter so it doesn't weight you down if you're out camping/hiking and easy to clean.

Lightweight silverware with great neoprene case.
The silverware is extremely light in weight, and yet reasonably durable. The tines of the fork will bend if you put too much pressure on them. This is not the firm pressure from stabbing steak, but rather the heavier pressure from trying to open a stiff tin can. The knife cuts reasonably well, and can handle leftover steak that has been microwaved twice. The floral print stamped onto the base of the silverware is quite attractive, and could be considered another selling point. None of my co-workers have anything remotely similar or as pretty on their portable flatware. The neoprene case is a nice addition to the lightweight flatware, and is by far one of the better selling points for the set. It resists water well, and is easy to clean; simply invert it and scrub any particles that may have fallen off the dinnerware away, and leave it to dry on the counter. They have followed me into the field for camping and into the office, and served me well at both locations.

It's a great set of portable silverware
I picked these up so I'd stop stealing my silverware from home and leaving it at work. It's a great set of portable silverware. They're not thick and nice like what I use at home but they're prefect for salads, cereal, yogurt and putting together sandwiches at my desk at work.If you're looking for quality akin to your home silverware, you won't find it here. I think I could probably bend this spoon with my mind but I won't bend it eating any of my desk snacks/meals so it's sill perfect for the price for me!

but the set is so easy to just slip into one's purse
I bought this set of silverware to get me through a backpacking trip in Asia (just in case I found myself burned out on using chopsticks). Turns out that I never needed them when I was overseas, but the set is so easy to just slip into one's purse, that I found myself taking them to work with me to cut back on using disposable plastics. I love these!

The perfect utensils for my kit.
Until I purchased this set, I had been using some very rugged tritan utensils. I always found that cutting food was difficult with those sets. However, this metal set cuts though food just the same as my utensils from home. The carrying case is great, and I really like the unique design on the handles. Basically, they work great, look great, and stow away nicely.Update: JULY 11, 2016 - The TSA took the butter knife away today, because they said it was serrated. Keep this in mind, if you plan to fly with these. It is up to the discretion of the TSA agent. Now, my favorite travel set is missing a butter knife.

my brother the utensil thief
my brother likes to take his lunch to work & he always steals my utensils. one time i came home from vacation & all my spoons were gone. that's right.... all 10 of my spoons were missing! so, i bought him these & he loves em. they're dishwasher safe. he'll also put the pouch in the dishwasher, too. they're not heavy. would be perfect for a backpack.

Decent quality
Bought this set to keep in my desk at work. It's nice and compact, however I do find the edges of the spoon and fork to be a bit sharp. For example, when I use the spoon for yogurt, it almost seems like I'm scraping the plastic off the inside of the cup. The handle part also feels a little sharp to me. Other than that, it's a decent little set.
