Best one period.
Hnds down best one I have ever used . Not a review writer but this one deserves it . Love the green, musch less line fuzziness than red. Used many other brands . I measure for heavy plate glass and theres no saw horse adjustments for what i build . Measures have to be accirate within 1/16 over small runs and 1/8 over very pong runs . Job security for me . Always lock it when traveleing from site to site , keeps it in tip top shape . Carry extra bateries , it chews through them but small price to pay for the accuracy and the quality is all Fluke . The most trusted brand in my experience . Pricey yes but worth every penny. Buy the best & only cry once .

Friends who are tile setters swear by this brand of laser.
Green is more precise and easier to see indoors. Have not used it outdoors. Simple controls. Easy to set up on tripod.

Can't beat PLS
I use this laser daily. PLS in my opinion is far superior than its competitors that I have tried. I am in the glass business and this tool is critical to getting accurate measurements. It has not let me down. I would highly recommend PLS to anyone. It's not the cheapest out there, but it is worth the money. As we all know it's a get what you pay for world. Spend the little extra, you won't be disappointed.

Not as good as the older model
So I have an older PLS 180 redline and it’s worked flawlessly for the last 10-12 years and survived some 8-10ft drops. In my eyes it was hands down the best laser on the market, it’s super compact and throws the line behind the device super far. Now that I’m getting older I wanted to upgrade to the green because it’s much easier to see. First impressions it’s packaged very well and it’s much larger then my previous model, I’m not sure if that’s because green is brighter and they have to increase its size to accommodate its brighter light. Upon using it the older model was a smooth plastic and this one has a type of rubber case which makes it slightly more annoying trying to snap lines on the floor. The rubber kinda grips it and when you are trying to make micro adjustments it moves back to the same position. Don’t get me wrong it’s still pretty easy I’m just being super critical. Now here’s the part that really let me down. I’m an electrician and I use this laser to set rack heights so I use the magnetic bracket to fasten the laser to metal studs a lot. On metal studs it barely holds the laser up, it’s really super sketchy. It holds great on heavy gauge studs and thicker metals though. It’s so bad that I ended up buying a 20x3mm magnet and installed it to the bracket. The rubber was fairly easy to cut and scoop out and it’s made a huge difference where I don’t have to worry about it sliding or falling off.———EDIT 11/17/23——— Had to remove a star because the laser fell off my cart and bounced like a ball which relieved me. I tried to turn it on and it wasn’t working, mind you my cart is probably 40” tall. I opened up the battery compartment and the batteries fell out because all the terminals got bent. My old pls has taken some 10-12’ drops and that’s never happened whereas this one did. I shouldn’t have to take a screw driver and open up the terminals after that small of a drop. Mind you if you have it in the carrying case this can happen too. They are very flimsy.

not as accurate as I'd hoped
I checked it against a PLS laser and it differed by a sixteenth inch in eight feet, perpendicular. I sent it back and got another PLS.
