Great belt . . . can't beat the quality for the price!

The first thing to note is that this isn't really a braided or woven belt. It is a flat belt blank with thinner leather strips woven around and through it. That reduces the flexibility, one of the things I like about braided belts. Its a little wider than I was really expecting as well. That all said, it does the job it is supposed to do, and better than a traditional belt with many more holes available. Shortening the belt to match is easy, with clear instructions included showing how to remove the buckle, shorten the belt, and put the buckle back on. The smell that other reviewers have noted seems to me to just be the smell of fresh, real leather. And it fades in a few days at most.Despite that this isn't quite the belt I thought I was ordering, I'm happy with it.

December 2021 update: I bought this in February 2019 and wear it 2-3 times a week and it still works and looks great. I’m buying another color one today.Original review from 2/2019: Very nicely made and works well. Funny though, I ordered the 30” waist length but it would have easily fit a 36” and I had to shorten it immediately. The nice thing about this belt is the ability to move the buckle which will be nice when it stretches, as woven belts always do over time, and needs to be shortened.August 2022 - UPDATE after regular use of this belt -2 to 4 times a week since February 2019 - it is finally fraying where the belt hooks through the buckle so that is about 2-1/2 years which is a reasonable length of time to expect a belt like this to last in my experience. So I am happy and will be ordering a new one from this company.

I love these types of belts since they easily adjust to any weight loss, or gain. However, I can't give this belt 5 Stars, as it wasn't the "Brown" color that I was expecting. Unlike the picture, the belt that I received is more like a Redwood Brown, which I actually like quite a lot.I wish all belts were designed like this. That way, you don't have a belt that is either too loose, too tight, or having to punch a extra hole into it.

I was hoping for the best and was pleasantly rewarded. This is a pretty good quality belt, much more than I would have expected for the price. I got the brown, which turned out to be more of a brownish-orange, but I like the color. I have a 31" waist, so I followed some of the recommendations in the comments and ordered a size up (34"). It was too long, but the belt is made to be cut to length and I easily trimmed it down to the length I wanted. I went back and ordered a black one to go with and this time I ordered a 32".

I like this belt because you can cut to the exact size you need. It last about one year before it starts showing wear where you buckle it. The only problem I have had is the availability in my size.

Love the reddish brown color. Very stylish. Have gotten some nice comments from my coworkers. I've seen some negative comments about the length. That all depends. I've bought belts in the past and it was common to have the belt a little long. You just cut it to wear you like it. The extra length isn't a problem for me. I have a pouch for my phone and another for my glasses. Both go on my belt. The extra length goes through the loops. This takes care of that. The extra doesn't show. Great belt.
