Skeptical
I've been diving before, and looking to get back into it. With that being said, I'm always on the lookout for some dive equipment that can help me out. I've talked to my wife in the past about getting an emergency cylinder like this, but never pulled the trigger before. Luckily this came up just in time for a trip I'm wanting to do next year! I was a little concerned though, when I first opened the package. I didn't' realize I was going to have to construct this myself. Not something I would call fun, but it wasn't exactly hard either. The only problem is I don't have a way to pressurize it at home, to test my seal. Oh well. Guess I'll find out sooner than later! Other than that, it seems like a nice little tank. Really happy to have that extra security at depth.

Product was incomplete.
I needed this product for emergency situations. It was incomplete, and I did not include the Adapter so I could fill it. I was forced to purchase the original spare-air for an additional $200. I will return this product immediately. Victor

I *so* wanted this to work
I did my initial fill using a compressor that is used for refilling paintball guns and we had some issues with leaks. lots of tinkering and I eventually found an o-ring in my garage that sealed better. The valve assembly is ok at best, it takes a lot to take a draw from this. The gauge looks super cheesy but so far it's functional, although I missed an opportunity to test it during the last fill. The second fill I did was from an o2 tank, as I want to have this oxygen filled instead. Making a fill kit with some spare parts, we were able to fill this with my large o2 tank. I set it aside for a few days and it leaked down a bit on pressure so one will have to anticipate when it will be needed. All in all, that's not what I want. This would have been a compact backup for my airplane, as well as nice to have around with the boat or snorkeling. It is usable, but without being able to maintain pressure for longer periods of time it's inconvenient.

This is a very nice piece of equipment that is a good choice for your gear setup. It seems to be a good quality item. I haven't put it to the real test in the water yet yet but on our inspection all is well. This item is good quality and it is very much worth the purchase. It arrived in good condition and I have found no flaws with the product and I fully recommend it. Great purchase! 4 stars in my rating system means the product is normal and in good shape and that is my average rating for most products.*Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if it helped you make an informed decision either way about this product please let me know by taking a quick moment of your time to vote it Helpful so I can keep track of my most helpful reviews. Expensive can. Buyer beware.
Nice tank. But only a tank. No filling capabilities or even suggestions where to get the additional HUNDREDS of dollars of addjtional equipment just to fill it. Small tank, ENORMOUS disappointment.

Nice!
This is a very well-constructed scuba cylinder. I can be filled with an air pump which is a huge plus. Still, the directions aren't exactly clear. Still, this is very nice, and I look forward to using it in the summer.
