This was for a gift. My friend loves lace work and loved the book layout and b.c the designs

Knitting lace is one of my favorites. I love the patterns and they are well detailed.

I would recommend this book. I like it a lot. I enjoyed the description of the Shetland islands and the source of their knitting styles.

Have not made anything yet, but I will -- I wanted to learn how to do Shetland Lace, but not something complicated.

Being new to lacing, I found this author to be understandable and sensible. Loved the photos. Nice designs. Well done!

Brooke Nico is my favorite knitwear designer and this book doesn't disappoint. Easy to follow patterns.

This book was truly disappointing the pattern that is on the cover has a mistake on the 17th roll It’s pretty bad do you know they didn’t take the time to look over the patterned us on the cover of the book

Not well written. A lot of wristlet no shawls. Don't waste your money unless you want to knit wristlets. I wanted Shetland shawl patterns.

I'm not really writing a review, although I will when I've made at least one thing. Many of the designs look beautiful, and I particularly like the wrist warmers. However, I want to thank Amazon for the speed of this delivery! I am totally impressed. When it said '...order now for delivery on 1 November...' I wrote on my calendar 'November 1 delivery? Really??' Well, no, it was actually delivered on October 31. That is mind-blowing! So, all I have to do now is finish the jumper I've started, sort through my wool stash (and perhaps buy some wool to suit a particular pattern), and then get started. Thank you so much for the speed of this delivery - I am seriously impressed.

Konnte das Buch, da eine Neuerscheinung, leider vorher nicht einsehen. Na ja...wirklich schön ist nur das Covermodell, der Rest nicht nur simpel, was kein Negativkriterium wäre, aber echt altbacken! Da lieber gleich originale Vintagemodelle. Ging zurück, danke Amazon!

Mir hat das Buch sehr gut gefallen. Nur leider kann ich es nicht gut lesen da es nicht in deutsch ist.
