My dog is loving the bed. I ordered a large and it seems just right. He is a medium size pitty weighing about 60 lbs so I recommend ordering a size bigger than what you think. As you can see in the pictures he is taking up the whole thing, end to end. The bed is a lot thinner than I thought it would be. It is basically an egg crate bed topper with a cover. I may go buy another bed topper to add more cushion to it. The foam like cushion does have a slight chemical smell to it that I'm sure will disappear in no time. It doesn't seem to bother my dog any. The cover is removable and washable which is much needed because if you have ever had a dog and a dog bed you know it takes no time for it to become smelly and dirty. It is very light weight which is great. I can have the kids move it around if needed. It's also the perfect size to fit in a crate, or on top of one of those standing dog beds. Overall, despite the small issues I have with the size and smell it is great and my dog is loving it.

I purchased a similar bed from Wal-Mart store for $49 when all of their Christmas stuff came in. Then I wanted another and they didn't have anymore. So, I started looking elsewhere. I found a much superior product on Amazon. Zipper in on one side AND one end which means I don't have to fight the foam back in. The one from Wal-Mart only has a zipper at one end. I think the Amazon bed has better foam than the one from Wal-Mart because the Wal-Mart foam has already started to break off. Now the outer shell is totally different: The Wal-Mart shell has a bottom that is made from a paper-like fabric, whereas the Amazon bed is made from a high-quality fabric that will probably last about forever. Good thing Wal-Mart ran out. Now my only problem is the dogs fight over who get the bed in my room. You guessed it--it's the one from Amazon.

One of the best beds I've ever had for my dog! I got the largest size because I have an American Bulldog/Boxer mix, known as a Bulloxer. She weighs about 65 lbs., and I didn't want to go too small, as she loves to stretch out. Well, this bed is perfect! She can stretch out comfortably with plenty of room. Makes me feel good to see her this happy. I recommend this size for any dog over 50 lbs. It seems very well made, and I put an afghan over it to discourage her from chewing it until she's old enough to be past the chewing stage. (She's nearly two, so soon I hope!) It doesn't ever bottom out (even if I accidentally step on it) and is so supportive, yet comfortable! I know this because my dog runs to it the moment she enters the room for a nap!

This has been a great bed for my old boarder collie (30-35 lbs) who now has blatter control issues. I needed something that he would lay on without overheating, which is an issue, and also something that could be easily washed without falling apart. This bed is perfect. It washes nicely and looks new after each washing and its doesn't cause him to overheat.One tip that a friend told me about is buying a waterproof crib sheet or mattress pad, covering the foam pad with this and then slipping the dog bed cover over the top. Works like a charm! Keeps leaks from ruining the foam pad.I'll definitely purchase this bed again whenever this one wears out.

I honestly thought it would be more solid. I bought it for my 2 small dogs who nap together and one who's too little to jump on the couch or bed. It will be getting colder here in New England and with hard wood floors when I'm not here he'll be cold despite heat and sweaters through floor gets chilly. I'm really not sure about the durability and if something happens I will return it. I thought the crates could be washed. I'm not too sure but will give it a shot. The top cover I thought would be thicker.

Bought this for my older dog, who eats treats on her bed and makes a mess doing so. The slip off cover is easy to take off and wash, and easy to put back on. My dog also loves laying on it, and during the summer she didnt feel overheated laying on it. In the winterI add some blankets for her to keep warm, and it does the trick! 10/10

I purchased two thinking I might need to attch them to make a larger bed due to some of the reviews. Not the case. My Lab mix who is 90lbs fits perfectly with room on either side still. Nice 2” ortho/ high density egg crate makes it super soft and comfortable for him. The top Sherpa is so dang soft, and the bottom and sides seem made of a durable material. He loves it and jumped right on it. Now using the 2nd one for my bedroom, so it’s a win - win! I would recommend this definitely. Will return to review once we wash it.

My old dog likes this bed except for one thing....the bottom is slick and not skid proof as described. Every time he tries to stand up, the bed moves. I never find the bed where I left it; it slides around the kitchen. Other than that, it's a good value for the money.
