I ordered these combs as I had my hair locked and I was combing my locs out. These combs were very sturdy and durability during the process of combing out 98 traditional locs. I was very impressed. I would absolutely purchase these combs again if needed.

These are thin and they feel they could break very easily. Because they’re so thin they don’t comb the hair well. I will use them until they break but I won’t re-buy.

I have thick hair that, despite shampoo or conditioner used, tends to wind up with at least a few small knots. Over the past five years I have gone through maybe half a dozen plastic pintail combs of various brands. Over time, teeth broke off of most of them, and, eventually, the tail broke off of ALL of them.I have had this comb for months now without even a sign of a single broken tooth, and that metal tail isn't going anywhere. It works great, and I'm hoping it will continue to hold up for many years to come.

Bought the combs for grooming my dog....the metal tail is great to lift fine hair out the way around the delicate areas like the eyes and mouth but Bardeau Essentials sent a discount code as a Thank You so I bought a set of wide tooth combs for me. Awesome!
