Work chair comfort
I love this seating pad it’s so comfortable! Using this outside the traditional norm I would say - not in a wheelchair or limited mobility/device. I repurposed this to use at my computer desk when sitting for long hours and it is very comfortable while also giving me a bit of a “boost”.Working remotely for 10 months has definitely resulted in a lot of home office upgrades. For me this was 1 of them. My chair is a steel case a decent brand it’s been falling a bit flat recently and I was starting to feel it - literally a pain in the butt! I initially tried the gel seat cushions people use in their car but that didn’t work out so well. It slid around too much and would start to fall out of the back where the gap between the seat and backing is.Fast forward to year end and trying to use my remaining FSA dollars before they expire and I happen upon this in the FSA store of all places. The dimensions were definitely big enough to solve the sliding out problem and the thickness was a big plus. The reviews and price were right so I placed my order.I cannot be more happy with the product. It is very thick, super cushy on my tushy you could say. I’ve been so much more comfortable sitting in my chair for long 10hr days and my back feels much better too. I think a lot of stress and strain I was feeling from a worn out old computer chair was taking it’s toll and rather than spending $100s on a new chair I was able to buy this for instant comfort and relief. The boost has been great too! You know how when someone moves the seat in your car after you’ve found the perfect position and it’s never the same?! Or you tweak seat settings and it continues to feel a hair off? Well in an effort to find relief I adjusted my seat height with the old gel cushion and could never find the right sweet spot again. My desk is rather high and it’s a challenge to get my seat to the right height while still keeping my feet on the floor (I’m 5’5). Thai cushion helped give me a boost where I can keep my chair low and feet on the floor with the cushion and height I need to keep my hands on the keyboard.Shipping was great Amazon 2 day arrived in perfect condition well packaged. Please note this ships in original packaging that reveals the product if that’s a concern for you. This cushion has exceeded my expectations as a desk chair comfort device and I highly recommend for this use. If you or a loved one spends time in a wheelchair or mobility device I can confirm this will reduce a lot of stress and strain that leads to typical discomfort with long periods of sitting.

Comfortable
I bought a wire mesh office chair. I found that the seat is too hard. I tried several cushions that were not at all comfortable. I decided to try this one. For me, it offers the perfect balance of cushioning and support.

helps with sitting issues
I like the length and width as it fits my recliner. I do wish it was thicker as it does compress down, but revives when you get off it

Dare I say, I have better posture sitting on this
I got this for a chair in my art studio. This chair was supposedly pre-equipped to be comfy...it was not. When you're 'arting' most of the day, the last thing you want is a constant reminder of discomfort in your back and shoulders. I was noticing when I would go to get up...ouch in the hips, never had that before. This little cushion does the job well. Firm but not, 'are you just a brick I'm sitting on' kind of way. Second thing, was this going to be one of those cushions that when you sit on it after a while it won't hold up? No, it's not one of those. Do I sink down too much? No I don't. It actually makes my posture better as I can straighten my back knowing I won't have to sacrifice my butt and hips hurting. I got this because I thought, well if it's made for a wheelchair, I would hope they make it comfy and supportive...and they did. It totally works well for a chair cushion also and I would recommend.

it worked for a fortnight.
Bought it for my dad who sits in a wheel chair for more than 12 hours a day. When he first sat on it, he said it was very comfortable. After a few days he complained that the gel part moved in-between his thighs and there no cushion effect on his butt from the gel. Less than 30 days from purchase date, he said the cushion compressed to next to nothing and he didn't like it any more. Amazon was nice enough to accept my return.I felt, if the person sitting on this is bulky the gel might distribute more evenly. Also if sitting on it all day everyday, the memory foam compresses and becomes flat, only the gel gives some shape, and as is the nature of gel, it moves around so its a bit tricky to use this cushion.

Made my mesh office chair more comfortable
My mesh office chair has this plastic rim around the seat which holds the fabric taut. Since the fabric is not super tight anymore, the plastic rim can get annoying in the hip area- sinking into the chair I feel the rim a lot more especially if I spread my legs out or try to sit cross legged style. Anyway, I needed a cushion to help that and this was the right size and thickness and price for me.There is a tag on it but its easily ripped off. It is reversible, with fleece on one side and cotton on the rest. There is a zipper to remove the foam in the event you need to wash the cover. It does compress but doesn't stay compressed like memory foam, springs back up. It is pretty comfortable and I'm sure you can use it in a variety of places, not just wheelchairs. I personally have the fleece turned down so it doesn't slide around as much on my chair. So if you are looking for a standard cushion, this works pretty well.
