I teach. The children liked it
I teach. The children were just learning to read & they enjoyed learning the words for the colors. They had problems when there were differentiations like “light blue” or “dark green”.

Good for preschool children that are learning their numbers and how to recognize them
This is a really nice book that I purchased for my 4 year old daughter who's learning to recognize her numbers and so far it's been a great help if she loves doing it so its not like work for her. My only issue that I would have if any is that the colors that they're using R kind of hard to find. There's a lot of light blue dark blue and light brown dark brown when you have children that are that young they use the bigger crayons and those colors are not included.

Uses lots of colors
This is a great color by number book. The paper is higher quality than regular coloring books and there are 29 cute pictures with nice solid lines. It uses between 9-13 colors per pictures (15 colors total) and the numbers are always the same color (ie. 1 is always red). The colors are written with no color indication, so either your child will need to be able to read or have help. You will need: red, light blue, yellow, pink, black, light brown, light yellow green, dark green, navy blue, violet, orange, gray, peach, turquoise.

Nice coloring book
This is a nice coloring book. The pages are sturdy and the pictures are good, using a variety of colors. My disappointment is that many pages have simple pictures. From the preview, I was hoping most of the pages had more detailed pictures. A lot of pages were a bit easy for my child.

5 year old really enjoys
He's never been interested in using more than one color or trying to color in the lines, but color by number changed that. He followed the guidelines better than expected. He's really enjoyed this book and will actually spend the time and focus to finish (mostly) a whole picture. The only disappointment is the colors are only written, and he can't read yet. But I just used his pencils or crayons to color the words appropriately. Make sure you have more than 10 colors, you'll need them.

Its pretty cool
I didn't like that every color is listed with every number at the bottom of every other page. I wish each page had the specific numbers needed. Its not super small, my 6 year old liked doing these. It is to detailed for a 4 year old. Try coloring by dots if your child is younger.

15 Colors by Number
This is great for teaching numbers and color recognition. The pages are nice and the print is bold for helping the less artistic to stay in the lines. The colors you need are: red, light blue, yellow, pink, black, light brown, light yellow, green, dark green, navy blue, violet, orange, gray, peach, turquoise. The colors aren't coded, so if they can't read you can color the numbers with the corresponding color to help your young artist.
