I Love It!
I am absolutely obsessed! They come out so cute! So I have noticed that depending on the liquid you freeze it may be a little more difficult to take them out of the mold. For example, I used almond milk and it was a little more brittle compared when I used water and so the tentacle broke off a little bit. I wouldn’t say that this is the products fault, it’s more on what the liquid is composed of and how it’s consistency is when it is frozen. The ones I made with water came out perfectly. I would recommend this mold to everyone c: (I’ve also attached some photos of this cute ice octopus - one made of almond milk and the other of water)

Makes cute chocolates!
My kids have food allergies, so each year at Halloween I melt down some allergy-safe chocolate chips and use candy molds to make chocolates for them. I wrap my homemade chocolates in aluminum foil and trade them to my kids in exchange for their candy that they can't eat. This year I made smiley chocolates in these molds. They came out great! The eyes and smiling mouth were very clearly visible. I used a chopstick to poke the melted chocolate deep into the grooves, to make sure it reached everywhere with no bubbles.I'd been using plastic candy molds in past years, but I was worried about so many plastics being toxic, so this year I switched to silicone because it may be safer. The big difference that I notice between these molds and my old plastic candy molds is that these are are much bigger. I made seven big smileys (maybe 2 inches in diameter) and nine Easter Island statues (from these: Fred & Friends Stone Cold Ice Trays) with the same amount of chocolate that I'd usually use to make a zillion little chocolates. My kids seemed content to have fewer big chocolates instead of more little ones. These trays are a little floppy, so it was trickier to get them into the fridge than the stiff plastic trays I used to use -- I put these on a cookie sheet to move them, and that worked very nicely. These were easier to unmold than chocolates in plastic trays, because the silicone is very flexible. Now that I've done chocolates, I want to try using these to make ice!

Adorable and Functional!
I LOVE this ice cube tray!!! Just make sure to fill up the tray all the way to the top and be careful not to spill while transporting to the freezer. If there isn't enough water in the tray, the tentacles will break more easily. Also, the top of the head is slightly difficult to get out, but if you just wiggle it back and forth gently and push from the bottom once the tentacles are free, they seem to come out pretty nicely. While they are not gargantuan, they are larger than my regular ice cubes, so they melt more slowly which is nice. Just remember these are silicone trays so they are going to be wobbly, you can use a tray, plate, or piece of cardboard to make getting them to the freezer an easier task. Or I guess you could just fill them while they are already in the freezer...Love them!!

The legs are very shallow in comparison so they easily break while you're trying to pop the thing out
The octopus heads are wider at the bottom, so these are very difficult to pop out when the head is wider than the top hole you're trying to wedge it through. The legs are very shallow in comparison so they easily break while you're trying to pop the thing out. Also, this is not a hard ice tray, but a soft bendy plastic so filling them up all the way to the top and laying it perfectly in the freezer without spilling is a challenge. I find I do spill and even with best efforts half of the legs don't form because there was just that little bit of water missing or it was laid at just a little bit of an angle. Once out, because they are top heavy they float upside down in the glass. Piling a bunch in a tall glass still looks good and I enjoy the novelty every now and then, even with the hassle.

Fun Product!
I really like my coffee bean ice cube tray! It looks so much like coffee beans (much larger though) and definitely makes an iced coffee seem much more exciting! My only complaints would be that it is very difficult to transfer into the freezer once there is coffee in it, I had to place it on a tupperware lid to prevent it from flopping and spilling everywhere. It is also very hard to get the cubes out of the tray. My only other complaint would be that it doesn't make that many ice cubes (not enough to fill a cup) and although the cubes are quite large, it barely filled half of my glass. I am actually considering buying a second tray though to have enough ice since I do like the product very much!

Cute cubes for my cold coffee
I can't drink hot, hot coffee (burned my tongue as a child), so I always add ice to my coffee, even in the winter. I had previously bought ice cube trays that would allow you to "pop" the cubes out one-by-one since I would only want two cubes at a time. I tried to release several cubes at once by twisting the tray (as most people do), it cracked and I had to throw it (and my coffee cubes) in the trash. I figured silicon trays would work better. Boy do they ever! I can pop one out at a time and enjoy my coffee at the perfect temp. I even found that only one of these cubes brings my coffee down to the perfect temp; I had to use two normal cubes for a cup before and it would be colder than I wanted. I think I might need to buy more in different shapes for making other types of drinks (lemon spikes for tea, lime jewels for mojitos, etc).

Disappointing and complete failure!
So disappointed! I wanted to love this, but it was a total fail. It is nearly impossible to fill because the silicone is too floppy. When you fill the mold with water, it leaks out before you find a stable place in the freezer to place it. And if, by some miracle, you get most or all of an octopus to fill and freeze, it is nearly impossible to pop out of the mold without breaking the tentacles off. And, if, you are doubly blessed and free From captivity an octopus that you miraculously froze - the skinny little legs melt as soon as you add liquid to the glass, and you wind up with a sad little round ball. This was a complete waste of money. Do not buy.

Really cute ice tray
These make really cute ice cubes. I do have a bit of trouble getting it from the sink to the freezer without spilling water so I use a tiny tray underneath. My latest use for it is homemade lotion bars.

Buena calidad
Son muy bonitos, el silicón no es 'silicón barato' los hielos no se atoran y son fáciles de sacar. Me encantan.
