High quality and well thought-out design, but size does run small
This is a very well-thought-out designed glove. The Gauntlet has a slight curve to the under forearm area. This makes for a very comfortable and smooth fit. My dislike however is that the size small is actually a bit too small for me and my fingers go numb if I have them on for too long. Kind of a bummer but I will keep using these gloves because they are so good. So just beware that the size runs small next time I will be sure to order medium which is usually too large for my small hands.

Nice, size up
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Very nice gloves. I look forward to using them today. I purchased 2 pairs small and medium (for 2 people) they run a bit small , I suggest sizing up.

The best gardening gloves I have ever owned in 65 years of gardening
I am what some people would say a fanatic gardener. I’m retired, and spend an average of 10-20 hours a week working in the yard, which includes everything from things like hauling/positioning big rocks to shoveling and weeding. These are the BEST gloves I’ve ever owned! The hand part fits my small hands ( I ordered the small) and has not gotten holes in the fingers like most of the gloves I buy, and the long arm keeps me safe from thorns and some of the plants I’m allergic to. The gloves also saved me from stings on my arms when I accidentally pulled a weed too close to a ground bee nest. There are copperheads in my yard, too, and I have hope that if I put my hand or arm near one, it will lesson the power of his bite. I take every precaution to avoid finding out about that, though.

Get some now!
I bought these as a result of spending a week pulling out a significantly overgrown hedgerow complete with rose hips, rose bushes and various other prickly things. I went through three other types of protective handwear and was ready to throw in the gloves (pun intended) when I found these late at night while taking a break from trying to dig the last of the splinters out of my palms. And thank God I did. I went from carefully having to grab each limb of the devil plant to just reaching into the hedgerow like a kid reaches into a bowl of Halloween candy. Four days in and I have only gotten one thorn stick (yes, if you purposely poke yourself in the back of the hand because you are wondering if some magician swapped out the devil-plant for a fake because you can't believe the gloves work as well as they do, it'll go through the glove). And if anyone ever needs to find a needle in a haystack, skip these gloves because you'll be searching even longer because your can't count on feeling ANYTHING sharp through these puppies. But anyone looking for the right gloves for some yardwork get a pair of these. So with that, I'm going back to tend to my rose bushes.

Wait, roses have thorns?
Wait, roses have thorns? You wouldn't even know it with these gloves! These things are AWESOME. I just had to prune and break off dead branches on 4 neglected neighborhood rose bushes, so I broke out these bad boys and they literally saved my arms. A couple thorns broke off and stuck to the glove but did not prick me, and otherwise I could reach my entire arm into the bush and come out unscathed. I even had to grip pretty tightly around some of the dead branches to pull them out and still nothing came through. Amazing.I am petite and usually have a hard time finding things that fit. I ordered the Women's Small and they fit perfectly, which I was super excited about. I'd say if you have even average size hands for a woman you'll want the medium. In other words, the women's sizes truly are women's sizes - don't feel the need to size down because they are going to run big or anything like that.Would definitely recommend!!

Wanted to love them, but gave me a rash
I really wanted to love these. Wore them for two days doing normal garden work (pruning, digging, etc.), but on the second day my fingers started to itch and broke out in a rash along the seam where the synthetic leather is sewn onto the mesh. They seemed pretty sturdy and I loved having the long forearms, but couldn't wear them again. Don't have this problem with leather and fabric gloves or with nitrile gloves. Maybe there's latex or something in the synthetic. Anyway, if you don't have skin sensitivities, they may be great for you.

Not just for pruning roses!
I ordered these because I weigh my horses hay out for them so I know how much they are getting and to keep an eye on their weight. Hay can be sticky so I wear wrist length leather gloves to handle it. However, the pieces of hay would get stuck in the cuff of the glove, which is super uncomfortable. I ordered these and they work perfectly with the long cuff. No more hay sticking to my shirt sleeves or in the glove cuff. The small is a true small. I love them, it has made a huge difference when I do this chore.. We also have blackberries that I cut back, so these have a double use for me.

Not good for small pokes
These are sort of hit or miss. I guess they do work well for large thorns, the rose bush didn't pierce the gloves, however I cannot pull Canada thistle weeds with these as they have very small pokey bits that go right through the glove.
