Bought 2 and both were bad
I purchased two of these sensors to replace on my car. After installing the first one it immediately through a fault code. I tried the second sensor and same condition. Both sensors when tested were faulty. Just to be sure I verified the harness wasn't the reason and when I replaced the sensor with a new one all worked well. I should have paid more attention to the reviews around durability.

Toyota 4Runner P0016
My 2006 Toyota 4Runner came with a P0016 definition: Correlation of crankshaft and intake camshaft was incorrect, stating timing chain skipped a tooth. If you Google P0016 without imputing make and model, definition say camshaft position sensor bank 1. This resolve my issue, so research and pay for an easy fix before tearing apart your timing chain.
