Just great! I plan to do a facsimile of Minden High School pep club member for our 60th class reunion on my 78th birthday, May 24! The LORD helped me find my Whippet (greyhound, high school mascot) from my daughter (I had forgotten she had it!), after searching many places & contacting g many people to find it! Then, the black & white saddle shoes that was part of our pep club outfit, perfect price, perfect fit, with the $30 credit for being new to the Amazon, the cost was $1.95, plus free shipping! The perfect purple blouse (Heavy sweaters we wore, too heavy for May) at Goodwill for a dollar--10 clothing items for $10, I donated nine baby spring clothes (I had to get 10 items for the price) to Diaper Heaven where I work on Mondays. The pep club picture of my sister & myself was enlarged from my laminated scrapbook, for what reason, I don't know at the present time. My friend from Honduras (not knowing "the plan" nor Minden High School colors) gave me some purple knitted accessories will be a perfect, worn in my hair! A whit skirt I made a couple of years ago will be perfect, now that I shortened it! This has. Even such a fun journey. It is great to live the abundant life that Jesus Christ offers, and see what He can do for His good purpose.

I needed a pair of saddle shoes for a high end 50's theme charity event. I went all out and bought the poodle skirt and crinoline slip, and of course needed the Saddle Oxfords to complete the look. These fit the bill exactly, They run slightly large, which was a boon for me as the size 10 fits my size 10.5 foot perfectly. They are lightweight and attractive on; they have a lot of give and are quite comfortable. There is even room for an orthopedic insole. The laces are a little bit on the short end but that wasn't a problem; there was plenty enough to tie them.I'm not sure how well they would hold up over hard use. I would recommend that if you are looking for sturdy, leather-like everyday shoes look elsewhere. If you want a pair of very nice looking and comfortable saddle shoes for occasional dress-up, these are just what you are looking for, and an excellent value.SHOPPING TIP: Read the reviews on sizing when buying saddle shoes online. The place where I bought my costume and other sources listed that their saddle oxfords ran SMALL. These were the opposite, which is one of the reasons I chose this Funtasma by Pleaser brand over the others, and this review is specific to that brand.

Okay. I dance, and I dance a lot. I'm a line dancer, so the right shoes are THE most important accessory I wear. I can't say enough great things about these shoes! They are very comfortable. The size fit as expected. I'm a size 10, and since these shoes are a bit wide, I was able to comfortably dance for 3 hours. Whether or not I'm dancing in costume or not, I'm definitely wearing these shoes again. And, again. And, again. They are so worth the money. An extra benefit are the soles of these shoes. I thought I was going to have to apply suede pads to the bottoms of the shoes, but when I got to the event, these shoes didn't stick. I was able to spin easily. I wasn't hindered in any way dancing on these soles. The best ever!

Sole is adequate, not real thick is textured. Shoes feel like leather.. and it makes me wonder what it actually is because it's listed as polyurethane and made in China; I worry it may be made of an animal since they do use dogs for leather, darn it. I got a 10 because there was no 1/2 size..have about 3/4" shoe left above my big toe. I wear a regular width and it fits my foot exactly, no room to spare. Look good, doubt you would wear everyday because you would be cleaning every night..they are cool tho!

My wife has wanted a pair of these shoes for many many years. I was so happy when I found them Amazon!When these arrived I was so pleased that they look so nice! They look better than you would expect. They actually look very well made. They are pretty comfortable but are a bit stiff (as to be expected with new shoes) and they do run on the smaller side. My spouse wears a 9 (narrow) but these were snug on her but I think once she wears them a few times they will loosen up.They arrived pretty quickly and came nicely wrapped up in a good sturdy box. All around I was very impressed with this product!

My shoes arrived Yesterday, and I immediately put them on, expecting to have to 'break them in' before our Sock Hop.They fit perfectly, and so comfortably, that I wore them the rest of the Day. I take a 6, and most of the reviews stated that their size is accurate, so I ordered a 6, and that is exactly what I received.Brought back Memories, of when my Husband of 48 Years & I began going together, 51 Years ago.He kept watching me..strangely...and finally said: 'Boy do you look good in them". LOLAs I said, Memories.After our Saturday Night Sock Hop, I have the feeling that I'll be wearing them a lot, most likely at my Husband's request.They are supportive, comfortable, and bring back The Good Old Days. I am completely in love with these shoes! I'm very sketchy when it comes to online shopping because I'm scared I'll get something completely different from the picture or really messed up or they won't fit me but it came out exactly like the picture. I recommend it to anyone who wants to buy shoes like these. I am a huge fan of the 50's and these are just perfect. Most of the time I'm a 9 but there are rare times I'm an 8 so i ordered them in size 9 and they fit just a litttttleeee bit loose. I just tie the laces harder or wear socks and they fit perfectly. The only thing is that they crease VERY easily. I tried them on and they creased instantly. It bugs me a little bit but it's not very noticeable so I'm still quite pleased with the product :)

I have wide feet, and I didn't have any issues with fit. I purchased these to go with a 50's costume to wear to Disney World, and I wore them the entire day and they held up. I did get some slight blisters on top of my feet due to not breaking them in properly, but otherwise no issues. They were reasonably comfortable, although I did add some padding for my instep as there is no arch support in these. They were good quality, and felt like leather.

Ordered these for my daughter for a 1950s-themed dance at her school. Better quality than the saddle shoes available at the local Payless shoe store, and for a lower price. My daughter said they were comfortable, despite almost no break-in time, and her feet felt fine after the dance. We trusted reviews here that the shoes fit as expected, so we ordered a half size larger to be on the safe side and so she could wear them again as she grows. Expectations met: she wore the shoes with bobby socks and the shoes stayed on just fine.

These shoes were only okay because they were the final piece to my 50's costume with a poodle skirt. First of all, they weren't very comfortable. They didn't have my size so I ordered the next size up as many said they ran small. I had to stuff the toe with paper and still wore 3 pr. of socks just to keep them on.Secondly, there is something wrong with the heel of the left shoe. Y'know that little packet of crystals that is in most shoe boxes? Unsure what they do, but they are in there. It almost seemed like someone emptied a bag of those crystals into the heel of my shoe. Whenever I took a step with my left food, it would make this noise like a morroca...or a rattle. It was just the left shoe.All in all, they were cute and matched my outfit, but that noise from the heel was just too odd. I even took the stuffing out of the toe to ensure it wasn't in there, Weird.Cute and fun shoes though.

These are great for a 50s poodle skirt costume. They fit comfortably and seem well enough made. I would say they fit true to size, although that might vary depending on whether you wear socks with them I do wear them with socks and they're comfortable on my size 7 feet They are for costume purposes so they're not real leather. But they don't look cheap. I can't speak as to how well they'll hold up over time since I've only had them a few days but since I bought them to where for once a year costumes purposes, I'm not so concerned with that. I would definitely recommend these to complete your costume.

I ordered the Futasma Pleaser Saddle shoes in black and white. Read the reviews to determine best size to order as shoes runs in full size only. I wear a 9 and ordered a ladies size 10 thinking they ran small. Shoes are a bit wide and big on me. I'm Thinking they run true to size. The soles are real flat. The extra room allows me to add a shoe insert pad for additional comfort and plenty of room for my thick bobby socks for my 50's costume. Not leather, but good price for what you get. Great costume shoe.

My daughter came home from her first week of practice for the musical, Hairspray, at her high school. She said, "I need some old style shoes called saddle shoes. I don't know WHAT he's talking about!" I knew! Years of Junior High and High School Pep Club came flashing back! Her response when I found these on Amazon was, "OMG!" The first day she had them she wore them to practice and came home saying that were very comfortable. Now a week later, she said she plans to wear them to school after the production is over! She has been told they are "hipster". Some styles are just too cool to die!

I was looking to buy a pair of saddle shoes for everyday wear, and these shoes do the job perfectly! I've worn these shoes almost everyday since I got them and I have yet to experience any pain. My feet normally hurt by the end of the day because of my flat arches but these shoes do not bother my feet at all, nor do they rub my heel or feel tight. They were true to size and everyone seems to like them. They also are very cute and have a bit more of a foot shape to them then some other pairs out there. My only thing to say about them is that they have scuffed pretty easily so far but I plan on taking a magic eraser sponge to them and Im pretty sure they will take the marks right off. Overall very comfortable and cute shoes!

I bought these to wear for Halloween at Disney. We had a great time, but walking around for hours trick or treating at Magic Kingdom until midnight would tax any shoes and these held up. My son had on sneakers and even his feet hurt. They were very comfortable waiting in lines and dancing at the outdoor dance party. Please listen to all the warnings about running small. I usually wear a 9 - 9.5 and as much as it pained me to do it, I ordered the 10 and they fit perfectly. The shoes really are cute and very comfortable.
