My review
The jury is still out on this one. I have put this up today and to get it right seems nearly impossible which was surprising as the instructions seemed really clear, however the instructions say that the inner tent fixes to the outer fly with hooks to the outer fly's rings, there are however no hooks on the inner and no rings on the fly. It seems almost impossible to get the inner tent not to touch the fly so I am expecting an issue with condensation, hope that I am wrong! The other problem is the angle of slope of the pyramid shape, it is such that when you lay out it is very hard not to have your feet and head touching the outer fly, and at 5 foot 7 inches I am a bit of a short arse to get this sort of problem and I was laid on the ground sheet so when I put and air bed in it could well be even worse. The plus points are that if I can get this tent to work due to the issues mention above, it gives enough room in the inner tent to take your pack as well, and the porch area will be large as well. In theory you could use just the fly and outer ground sheet or just the fly or the fly, outer ground sheet and the inner tent (which also has a built in groundsheet) so offering quite versatile accomodation, it is also very light. Lets hope I dont wake up with a wet head and feet in the morning.
