Best eco friendly wood party, picnic table ware i have ever found. Spoons with actual cupped bowls!
Highly recommend! Spoons with bowls, knives that can cut bread buns and brats! Forks that fork. Out of bamboo! No more paddle “spoons” and useless knives. These ARE the one.

Really sturdy well made silverware
Little pricey, but worth it. Well made. Smooth finish, sturdy, no odd taste. The knife really cuts, fork ok, spoon is really shallow... no good for soup, but fine for oatmeal. Poplar wood from managed forest growing trees for everyday use. Wood is truly recyclable and conpostable. I will buy again for family events and business hospitality.

Environment-friendly
Have you ever felt guilty using disposable plastic cutlery? I would assume so if you are in the review section of a wooden cutlery product. Well, I also felt the same. I work in an office and I would usually bring food from home and of course I would add stainless cutlery in my lunch bag, but there are times I would forget when I am in a rush so I would always use the plastic spoon and fork available at work. It happened so often that I really felt bad seeing those 1 time use plastic spoon and forks in my trash so I ended up deciding to purchase these wooden cutlery and hide them in my drawer for when I would forget to bring from home. This really helps me feel less worried about the environment knowing that these are a bit more environment friendly and are more sustainable to produce as well.Upon reviewing, there is a slight initial taste and feel of wood that you barely notice, depending on what you eat. If it's too dry of a food then it might be more noticeable but not that you will lose your appetite. Also, never have i gotten a splinter from these, so that's not something you should worry about. This is also created to be very smooth and safe to use for eating, trust me. If you are trying to go a more eco-friendly route then I highly recommend this product. I finished up one box and the fork seems to always go our first so that's something to keep in mind. I am asian so I also use the spoon pretty regularly so that's the 2nd one to go for me. The knife is still from my first set so I have just been buying in separate. Hope this helps!

Good single-use utensils but wouldn't be wife approved
Our goal was to avoid creating more for the landfill and so we wanted something other than plastic. We have commercial composting so these were worth a try. So far, it's a mixed bag. They are compostable and are at least a decent size so not too small for adults to hold. But they are a bit smaller than plastic we have used. They are definitely single use. Pretty decent plastic utensils will easily make it through a real meal. If you have a knife, fork and spoon for your meal, one of these will not survive. The knives can cut well but dull quickly. The tines on the forks are not that sharp (the middle ones are squared off) so it also takes more to spear things and ultimately it will break. And the spoon is really more of a spatula so it just doesn't work well for liquids (think Italian ice spoon but larger). For basic home use and because they are compostable we are happy to use them.Needless to say, my wife would likely nix these if we were having adults over and they actually might need to really use them versus just be available if needed.

Take them Camping!
After use, they made excellent campfire starting tinder. If your fire is already going, they burn soon much cleaner than plastic utensils.
