I was going to wait to write a review, and seriously hope I'm not too premature with this.....but about 3 years ago, I started noticing hair loss....after I started dying my hair. I became concerned and on a trip to my dermatologist, mentioned it to her. She took a quick look at it and said I had seborrheic dermatitis and prescribed a medicated shampoo, which was a disaster, only turning my scalp red, and it now not only itched but burned somewhat. So I returned to her and suggested that I thought I needed something to moisturize my scalp? She prescribed a topical steroid, which upon using it the first time I noted some relief....but as time went on, the same thing happened, as she also wanted me to use Selsun Blue, which also dried my hair out.I search online and found this, and saw so many positive comments, and while being skeptical, thought, it's worth a try....without much hope.Well, I used it for the first time last night, and what a difference, instant relief....so, I am praying this is the answer to the problem. I do not have dandruff, but I believe my scalp was compromised by the hair dye and progressively got worse over time?I will continue to use this and perhaps come back in a few weeks and write another review....keeping my fingers crossed.Oh , I forgot to mention.....since a young child I washed my hair almost every night....or morning....b/c my hair was always so oily and now that I'm in my senior years....I guess that doesn't fair well with my scalp also? But to tell you the truth, I hate not washing it, b/c it just doesn't feel comfortable or clean, so now I'm looking for a gentle hair shampoo, as well....Anyway, if you are suffering with a dry red and itchy scalp, give this a try, it might be the answer you were looking for....Good LuckUpdate 6/21so since my last post I've had to use this product less and less, perhaps once every 3 to 4 weeks or so. I found this product while looking for something to treat dandruff. With years of washing and then straightening my hair, I would start to see flakes after just a few days after washing my hair. Sooo much itching and irritation! The main problem areas were the front of my head and the back-top area. I tried using head and shoulder, tea tree oil, etc. which helped, but didn't last too long.BUT THEN I went to try this product. Was a little put off by the price, but I figured I'd give it a shot. A little does go a long way, so I started applying it to my scalp as I straightened my hair. Over a year later, and I rarely see flakes at all anymore! It does something real nice to sooth my dry scalp, and keeps the flakes at bay between washes. Not to be dramatic, but I love this stuff.

I love this stuff. I see a lot of reviews from people saying they leave it in their hair. I do not. I saturate my scalp with it and leave it on for a few hours and then wash my hair as normal. Fabulously flake free and no itchiness for days after. I do wish it was cheaper and I could buy it by the gallon, but it is made of very high quality oils and is definitely worth the price. I've tried other oils such as argan, tea tree and jojoba by themselves to treat dry scalp and they just do not have the same effect as this incredible combination of oils.

This oil instantly relieve my scalp itch. It also open the pores an renewed the condition of my hair. I liked that you don't have to wash it out right away but like other oils it can build up. For myself, using it sparingly was enough. It is great that the bottle can last a long time so you are getting your money worth.

So I really wanted to love this product. If I had really frizzy dry hair I probably would. But my hair is straight. I'm giving 3 stars because it did help my scalp. But even using it very sparingly, when I brushed my hair it looked like someone poured olive oil on it. For me it was way too pricey for the results.

Wow. Prior to me getting this I have tried several oils. My scalp began to literally itch like to the point I thought I had an allergic reaction. And it was flaking so bad. After one shampoo and using this the issues is gone. It’s not greasy either in comparison to the oils I have used. I love the heavy massage center aroma. Please don’t ever stop making this. Yes it’s expensive but I barely even have to use it anymore. I will buy another one or always have on deck though lol. It works !!! Real review.

I would like to say I had never experienced dry scalp before. But one day I used some face wash and my edges started flaking and peeling, leading to the front half of my hair doing the same. No matter how many times I washed, tried different oils, even dandruff products. THEY DIDN’T WORK!! I even had to stop using gel!But let’s talk about this product. AMAZING. When I received this product I was so ready to try it because of the reviews. So I did start of the first day doing it twice and the second day only once. Massaging it in my scalp! Y’all that was 2 weeks ago. I have only used it once again since then and my scalp has not flaked, no peeling. I have even started to use gel again. And let’s just say I think this product is worth the money. I will definitely be buying more when I run out. The smell is strong and can have your eyes seem like they are burning, but it just cause the oil is working in my opinion. And your scalp will feel so refreshed and amazing. ❤️

I never heard of this product until my scalp itching got too out of control. I tried everything and nothing worked. Then I found this and it is now my favorite moisturizer. I didn't need to apply it as often as the bottle mentions to start feeling the benefits. I am now able to go weeks without applying it and still have no itch in my scalp. If only they had something like this for my ears.
