Best pads in the market
I used these pads many years ago when I first trained muay thai, so when I saw them online I had to buy them because they were excellent, I started training 6 or 7 years ago and I remember the quality of these pads being a 10 out of 10 I am glad to see that ovet time it has remain the same, actually they might even be better, they feel better, the design is amazing and they are super resistant, the grip is amazing, they fit perfectly and you can just see the quality of their stitching.

Nice quality pads
Nice quality. I may have gone for the thicker ones had I done it again, or Im just a sissy, but can barely take kicks from my 13 year old with these haha

These are top of the line! Highly recommended for Muay Thai!
The best of the best. If you are an experienced holder or need a bit more cushion for harder hits, I can not recommend this product enough.+The grips are comfortable, and I haven't experienced any blistering on my hands or abrasions even in high heat.+Light enough to move around and large enough to take heavy hits, but you'll still get a good workout (I have burned 300+ calories just holding in a 30 minute session)+ Ring target makes for improved accuracy- Can be a bit hard on the wrists if you do not punch dead center, make sure you are wrapped tight!I would recommend these to anyone who can afford them as the quality is excellent. This is a worthy investment!

Looks good and feels comfortable when holding for others to kick
Awesome Thai Pads! Took me some time to write a review because I wanted to give this some time before I give my opinion to others. I Used these constantly and it's starting to show signs of wear (purchased 1 year ago) but all the seams and leather is still in tact. The abuse from kicking, knees, elbows and punches has shown how good these pads are and how long they can last. The padding is still nice and thick has a small indentation from the hard kicks. My Muay Thai training is intense so these extra thick thai pads are amazing the price is high, but worth it. Don't get cheap thai pads because you will be switching them out within a years time if your consistently training. I've done it several times already so get a good brand thai pad if you want good build quality.Twins, Fairtex, and Yokkao are some of the top Muay Thai brands.

Fantastic Muay Thai Pads!
My husband and I have been training for about 6 months now. We use these pads in class, at home to practice on our "off" days, and to prepare for testing. The Fairtex pads are some of the best made pads on the market! At first, they were quite hard on the shins and made some terrible slapping noises each time we kicked them. At first, my training partners were all complaining about how hard they were. However, after about 3 months of use, they have softened and are more comfortable for my training partners--I don't get those complaints, even with newer students. The leather has held up very, very well. I spray the pads with Lysol after a sweaty training session and the leather has not cracked or showed any signs of being compromised. I plan on conditioning the leather as needed, but the pads have not showed any sign of needing extra oils just yet.I love the riveted and adjustable straps. It is very easy to adjust the straps and the pads are incredibly comfortable to hold. My Kru (teacher) is actually from Thailand and was happy to see that I purchased Muay Thai pads that were actually made in Thailand! When I am training with other partners, I get compliments on the target painted onto the leather. It gives a good area of focus and many of the women I train with said it helped them when throwing elbows or knees. As you can probably tell, I'm a woman. Being a woman, it certainly doesn't hurt that these pads are attractive and, dare I say?, Pretty! I have always loved red, white and black together and these pads certainly don't disappoint.

Excellent construction, legit leather (use neatsfoot oil), and very thick -- I can't see a need for the Thicker version pad
I contacted Fairtex to ask about maintenance, and they said that they don't have ANY recommendations as far as care. Really? The leading brand of thai pads for decades running? They just say that the recommend keeping the product away from moisture.I will PERSONALLY recommend using Neatsfoot oil (or whatever else you use on leather). A TEENY bit goes a long way. Every couple of months probably -- a really small amount, and follow the directions as for any other leather product. So IF YOU BUY THIS -- GET SOME NEATSFOOT OIL (or other leather maitnenance oil that's used for baseball gloves or anything else) -- IT WILL KEEP IT IN GREAT SHAPE.Anyway, Pros and Cons:Cons:-No recommendation for oils for maintenance -- I chose to ignore that and use neatsfoot oil-A bit heavy, but that's surely to be expected here-Velcrow technology -- but to be fair, I don't know what even would work better. Luckily the construction is good enough to replace the velcrow straps some day if you wanted toPros:-FANTASTIC construction and build quality-Very good padding (I don't know why anyone would need the thicker version -- I take kicks from a Pro heavyweight with these, and I can't imagine needing anything thicker)-Solid handle-Really good looking (and I like the targets)
