I have this installed above a mobile tool chest and below some shelves I placed in space we have in our utility room in our basement. This has become our charging staton for battery operated tools. I like this because I can have several chargers plugged ion, and I can control power to the chargers by turning strip on an off so I don't have to keep the chargers powered, or unplug them, when they are not being used. This was a perfect length, has plenty of outlets, and they are well spaced so it can accommodate plugs or larger power bricks. Its had this role for a couple of years now and working great.

I had very specific considerations for getting this power strip. I wanted something that would fit my guitar pedal board. This power strip ended up being perfect in every way, number of outlets, length of bar, but most importantly the amount of space between outlets. See i have this problem with power strips that face the direction of the outlets in parallel with the strip itself. When you plug in any type of transformer aka wall wart, then it covers up the next outlet or two in effect turning a 6 or 7 outlet power strip into a 2 or 3 outlet power strip. So I am very pleased with this set up that gives the perpendicular outlets with wide spacing as i can truly use every outlet on it! The housing construction is also very sturdy and light and made of metal and comes with some mounting brackets. I could see this sort of strip also being very useful for a workshop setting over a table. Very pleased with this purchase!

Works great in my wood shop!

This power strip works great, and the extruded aluminum case is rigid and sturdy without being heavy. The cord is a bit short at 4ft, but that's clearly described in the product description, so that's not the issue. The issue is with the mounting brackets, they fit very loosely to the back of the power strip and rattle about. If you use mounting brackets to attach this to a wall or a desk or workbench, you will find it has a lot of play. This is a great power strip if you're not going to use the wall mounts, but for wall mounted applications I recommend going with something else.

This extended length power bar is a great addition in our office. It allows ample space for all of our devices to be plugged in without overcrowding. Everything is connected and ready to use.

These are great. I bought one for the garage, then bought another for the area in my bedroom where the computer stuff is. There's not much to say about a power strip. This one has good mounting hardware instead of screw slots on the back. The outlets are spaced far enough apart that most wall warts will plug n without blocking an adjacent socket. I'd buy another.

I needed something to increase my outlet capacity from the normal six outlet to a couple more. This fit the bill perfectly and allowed me to get all the cables up and off the floor behind my desk. It also allows me to plug something in at my desk much more quickly than trying to fish the cord behind the desk and find the wall outlet. I only have it three stars on the “value for money” rating since the price seems to be pretty much in line with other strip outlet bars like this. I would definitely recommend.
