2 Cell 250 Lumen Maglite LED Upgrade Bulb C & D Model - 2 Cell LED Bulb

I'm old school when it comes to my flashlights and my Maglight is no exception. I want to turn on and turn off. No brightness steps and no focusing heads. That's why I went with this upgrade to my older Maglight instead of buying a new one. The led replacement bulb works well and is certainly brighter than the old bulb. Very happy with the Litt Industries products.

This LED module is only moderately bright; it's definitely dimmer than the LED models that Maglite makes. The real problem is that it hardly ever works.I installed it in a less-than-5-year-old 2-cell Maglite with brand new Energizer batteries. The flashlight isn't one of my beaters; it spends its time in a cupboard indoors for emergencies and has probably seen fewer than 10 hours of use. There is no corrosion or oxidation on any of the contacts.Any bump or motion causes the light to flicker or go out completely. Forget trying to adjust the beam unless you want to disassemble it in the dark and try to re-seat the "bulb." The tolerances are either not tight enough to keep the module in consistent contact with the flashlight or the internals are so poorly-manufactured that contact is being lost internally.If you're willing to pay this much for a flickering light on the end of a flashlight body, more power to you. I find it utterly worthless.

Installation was ok - as expected. It was installed into a 2 D cell maglite. With new D cell batteries, it just was not as bright as I had hoped - maybe only slightly more than the filament bulb. Overall, not worth it. Maybe a different brand?

Got this for a vintage Eveready Jr. Captain. The brightness is greatly increased, but it is much less focused. Likely due to the shape of the reflector. The two comparison shots are taken with the same camera settings. You can see the temperature difference in the color, and how it throws a much wider spread (basically over everything). Much, much brighter.

the brightness is not bad on the light but there something wrong with how its made or maybe has a loose connection when the cap is screwed all the way down. i write this because when i bang the flashlight against my hand gently it nearly goes out like it was never turned on and barely has any glow. when I reinstalled the bulb that came with my maglite it doesnt flicker or anything like how this light does. would not recommend this because of unreliability but will say it was brighter than the original bulb for my maglite.

Increased the old mag light significantly abut four Times stronger would definitely buy again not as strong as other LEDs but to be able to repurpose my old mag light it was great

This new led setup restored my 2c maglite to usability status. So bright and maglite tough.
