This was a perfect fit for my Sire V7 bass. Took about five minutes to instal and was nearly identical to the original. Sire had offered to send me a single one for free but they wanted me to pay $10 in shipping. So with this I receive two boxes for a couple dollars less than I could get from the manufacturer of my bass. It seems a little less likely to break as the material seems more rigid. The hinge mechanism seems to be a better build too. This box is designed to house the battery sideways, not flat.

A bit high for the product. I only ordered because I was in a rush. It works a s described though.

Seller was excellent, and I got the merchandise in no time. I did discover, though, that it was the wrong case for what I needed. These cases take the 9 volt battery lengthwise. The one I have on my Seagull guitar needs the battery pushed straight in. So, different cut-out size, and screw hole positions. Interestingly, this case IS made by the same company that made my other case (same lettering and logo on the case door). My mistake.
