Some of them did come disassembled in the box, but it took all of 30 seconds to screw them back on. I took one apart for the picture to show what it looked like.While my expectations for these types of pens are generally low, I haven't had any issues with them in terms of ink vibrancy or woritng ability. Nothing different from standard issues that arise with any ballpoint or retractable pen. They do get stuck sometimes when trying to retract them, but I've always had that problem with these types of pens—it seems to come with the territory.I bought these for annotating articles and books, and so far they're perfect. They're espcially great for my bibles, which have thin margins and pages: the size of the tip and the way the ink goes on the page make them perfect for taking precise notes in a small space that don't bleed onto the next page. A lit of my high-end pens were either too deep or the ink bled through. These were nice and cheap, and got the job done fantastically.I love the color range and think it's wonderful to only need one pen to take color-coded notes with.Some of the reviews mentions that they break easily, which is partially true in my experience. As a "pen clicker," I often play with pens while reading or focusing on something else and have had many mishaps with the springs on my pens. These pens are no different, but they're very easy to take apart and fix. They are refillable too since it's simple to disassembled and reassemble all of the parts.

The pen wires smoothly right off the bat.The colors of the green, blue, and purple ink don't match the pen color, BUT they are more legible than the pen color would be, so I'm not mad about it.Clicker works smoothly when changing colors.And the deal is great. Perfect gifts for my students.

Made cheaply. The ink cartridges wiggle when you write, and there isn’t a way to secure it better, but I guess that’s what you get for this price point.

Got these for my classes, the kids love them, they have held up well for a whole week, and overall seem very sturdy and reliable. A couple kids have had things come unscrewed because they were messing around, but they have been able to fix them on their own. Even the 1st graders had no issues clicking between colors. Super happy with these.

These are good quality pens and super fun to use. Children love them. They have lastest a while to. Overall very happy with purchase

I bought this as an EOY for my class. The kids had fun using them and it is appropriate as a gift for kids. They had no issues holding it or switching between the colors smoothly. They were using it right after I gave it to them so the ink flow seemed well enough and were able to write smooth. I know they won’t last for a long time, especially in the hands of kids but they were a good and easy gift for a good price.

I purchased these pens and gave them to my students as their end of the year gift! The pens write really good and are vibrant in color. These pens are a great value for the price!
