Fantastic Product and Delivery to Japan
I own a 2013 Harley Iron 883. My weight is 84 kg, and I ride this bike alone without passengers. It's my city scoot-about bike. I was never happy with the rear suspension because it had very little travel, and no matter what I did with the spribg adjustments, the shock continued to bottom easily over medium raod bumps and shocks up my spine. As a result, I decided (after reading all reviews) to purchase and install 13inch Progressive rear shocks 412-4065B on the rear of the bike. In a nut shell: BEST THING I EVER DID! First of all, the shock came in about a week after purchase to my home in Japan (ordered from the US side at AMAZON.com). The promptness was a surprize. Packaging was fantastic. They came including a spring tentioner wrench, a tube of grease, and the post adapters / spacers that fit my bike. Installation was flawless - taking 1/2 an hour of so. A "must have" in the installation process is to make sure you have a flat surface scissor jack to place under the bike frame to lift up the ass-end up, high enough so that the rear wheel can be raised above the ground. This will be critical because the 13inch shocks will raise the rear end up higher from the stock shock position. The ride was significantly better. Not only with the much softer ride, elimination of any bottoming, and increased suspension travel - but with the whole bike stability as well. The Iron handling improved as well as the peg clearance during turns. A HUGE improvement over the stock shocks. Speed bumps, railroad tracks, and asphalt holes - here I come without anymore fear of getting walloped. Bottom Line: Spend the extra couple hundred dollars for these shocks. The whiole experience from order, delivery, installation, to improved bike performance: Five Stars.

2005 harley sportser xl1200c
Shocks were delivered a day earlie. Great service. Shocks are great. If you are under 160pds get the 12.5 shocks. Im on the lowest setting on the shock and it a lil stiff. 10 times better then stock though. Perfect with a 160pd chick on the back. If you have a heavier hog you can adjust the shock. Bike rides better. After 1,000 miles the shocks broke in. Now they are perfect. No bottoming out like the stock shocks and the bike handles much much better. Totaly recommend this shock to anyone with a sportster. If you weigh less then 160 then i would go with the 12.5 shock lengh. Then youll probaly be on the middle setting on the shock

Sportster Upgrade
The 13" 412 series shocks massively improved the ride of my '22 iron 883. It does sit a bit higher, no clearance issues, but the belt gets a little close to the exaust at 3/16in at full extension. Steering is slightly more nimble feeling and the increased travel makes it so much smoother over bumps. The standard version is plenty for 2 up after a quick adjustment but soft enough for 1. I weigh 180lbs. Installed the aftermarket light under the fender that some people had the light ripped off by the tire, no issues. Still gets close under full compression. Much faster to adjust than factory. The factory shocks are kinda trash. Wish I had done it sooner. As of writing this review I have about 400 miles on them.

best upgrade yet on xl883l
My factory shocks came in at 11.5" and found the ride rough and easily bottoming out. With the extra 1.5" I'm not near as worried at hitting bumps or dips in the road and it made it much more comfortable for highway riding. They look great as well. I recommend upgrading the front springs as well with progressive brand, I have much more control in the corners and less nose dive. This setup is plenty for ripping around town. I know it's not top of the line, but it is a significant difference on a budget.

Highly recommend
Used these shocks to raise ride height on my Sportster Low. It would drag pegs on mild corners, the ride height was just way too low stock. These shocks raised the bike just enough for good cornering, still able flat foot the bike (I'm 5'-7") and it still looks great. Much better ride quality, even two up. Great upgrade for not much money.

One of the best upgrades you can do
This is easily one of the best upgrades I have done to my 09' Nightster and I have done a few. Shipping was on time, installation was straight forward and took about 30 minutes (with a motorcycle jack). The ride is much better compared to stock. I used to feel every snake strip in the road where as now I don't feel them at all and the larger bumps don't throw me off the bike a few inches like they did with the stock suspension. I wish this was the first upgrade I did but I am glad I have it now. I got the 13" and they changed the look of the bike a bit but I like the raised look better for my particular bike. The stock kickstand is still acceptable given the added lean angle. I am loving it so far. Will update if for some reason I change my mind.

Awesome. Must have for a custom

Exelente amortiguador, trabaja muy bien, es una enorme mejora contra el de serie, solo checa antes en la página del fabricante cuál es compatible con tu moto y compra con el número de parte.

Exactly what I wanted.

Maravilloso!
