Perfect for young readers
Perfect for young readers! Started a mini book club with my friends' daughters. This series is great because it incorporates in known Disney stories and fairy tales while adding less common ones. Then it has excellent lessons intertwined for us to talk about! Like who determines good and evil? The colors of the pages is super cute and the writing style is fabulous and captivating! As an adult I fell in love with it and enjoyed it as much as the 3rd and 5th graders!!

Unfairest of Them All
Unfairest of Them All, sequel to The Storybook of Legends, was remarkably amazing. I am an aspiring 11 year old author who loves fantasy. I recommend this book to all fairy-tale lovers. It is inspiring, funny, and creative. The story is well played out, showing the perspectives of both Raven Queen, the misunderstood daughter of the Evil Queen, and her friend, Apple White, the beloved daughter of Snow White, in their quest to find the true meaning of life, where you live in a non pre-determined role. While Raven tries to rewrite her story so she is not evil, Apple tries to save her happily ever after, the two BFF's work together for one common goal-to save their friend.

Wonderful
I have always loved fairy tales, they are my life! I grew up with the normal tales of sleeping beauty, belle, and snow white. But never before have I heard of the sons and daughters of these "celebrities," this book is wonderful. I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves fairy tales. It is fun for adults but the age group would be fifth and sixth graders.

Terrific Children's series
I was suspicious going into these series, because surely anything tied to a marketing line couldn't be all that--right? I'm so glad to be proven wrong. Since I trust Shannon Hale as an author, I was willing to try these books for my 6 yo daughter. We've read both books in the series out loud together and they are wonderful.I love that the books explore real choices and consequences: do we value a life that's safe and mapped out for us, or one that allows us to make our own choices? I love, too, that Raven Queen and Apple White are both fleshed out characters--though they want different things, they are still friends who support each other to the extent that they can.The supporting cast is also delightful--it's fun to see all the different spins on various fairy tales that show up here. But the best part is Hales' writing: reading that Humphrey Dumpty (son of the original Humpty Dumpty) "cracked" a smile is just a small example of the attention to detail and setting that characterizes these books. Also a plus--my kindergarten daughter has plowed her way through each of these books on her own after we read them together. Anything that can motivate a child her age to tackle writing above her comfortable reading level is doing something right.

lots of markings
it came on time and the book is in good shape except for the fact that it had a lot of markings like highlights and underlines in some pages and it was never stated that there would be any markings.

Amazing, fun read!
For reference, I’m nearly 16 years old and still love these books. Seeing as they’re mainly written for a younger audience, it’s a very easy read, but there’s still enough detail in the books to keep you interested regardless of age. I totally recommend Shannon Hale’s EAH book series for any fans of the dolls and netflix show/youtube shorts, as she adds a lot of background to the characters and series while keeping them close to the original show. Again, the book itself is in perfect condition and I definitely recommend buying hardcover as the pages have a pink color on them, which makes it that much more fun to read.

Luv it!!
Just reading this preview makes me want to get the book! In this sequel to the book the Storybook Of Legends, Raven finds out two different secrets from three different people. Ashylnn Ella tells her bout her secret relationship with Hunter Huntsman, while he tells her the same thing (both in a broom closet), and Cerise Hood tells Raven about a certain relationship she has with Mr. Badwolf, and the relationship is that he his her father, and Little Red Riding Hood had gone off script, fallen in love with the Big Bad Wolf, and secretly get married. The story is very enchanting, as they would say in E.H! I am totally getting this book on March 23, when the whole book comes out.
