FastFerment70-0537-6KRJ Carrying Strap 7.9 gallon Carrying Strap

Must have if you need to carry the fastferment anywhere. It's awkward to carry being conical. I use an upside down heavy duty tomato cage when transferring from the kettle to the fermentor via plate chiller. The hangers on the wall are in my basement so quite a haul. I could not imaging doing that without this strap. Has made the trek for 2 brews now with 6 gallons of wort in it. Not cheap and has held up well under the weight. It's a bit awkward, but better than trying to carry it without the strap.

Fermenter stays upstairs so big help getting it up from the garage. Note...dont have straps over the hanging points...maybe a little off to the side so you can hang it once you get to where it will rest.

I needed a way to cary a full "FastFerment" downstairs to where I do my fermenting. (For both beer and wine.) It's very awkward and dangerous to cary without the strap. With it ,it's possible. It's still heavy when full, but I can safely manage it. I'm very glad I bought it.

Bought this as a set for brewin beer.

Nice carrying strap and good value for the price. I would say it is a must-have for the FastFerment and makes it very easy to carry it around.

Really helpful and convenient to use for the Fast Ferment. Sturdy and a good deal. Sometimes you need that extra help and this is it.

Works great

This is a pretty good idea, if you have the FastFerment. It allows you to carry the fermenter between locations. The shape of the FastFerment, weighing over 40 lbs when filled, makes it hard to carry otherwise. The fact that you cannot set or rest it on the bottom, especially with the collection ball attached, means that you need to have either the stand or the wall mount ready when you get where you are going.Since I haven't found wall space for setting that up, I am using the stand both in the kitchen where I brew and in the basement where I ferment, so I carry the fermenter AND stand. Here, this strap doesn't work, and that is why I give it only 4 stars. Instead, I have to grip the small bars of the stand at an uncomfortable angle so I can move them together. Even with a wall mount, I am not sure many would be strong enough to lift that high using this strap, setting in the stand might be needed then, too.

Item was as described and arrived quickly, however I don’t find I need to use it much with the Fast Fermenter

Strong enough to carry the fermenter and the stand.
