Helps make the most PERFECT, fluffy mashed poatoes every time, and it's dishwasher dafe so cleanup is a breeze. Works best if you peel the potatoes beforehand as the peels don't go through the holes as well as the potato itself. Workflow is a little awkward with having to constantly load and squeeze, but the end result is worth the extra effort.

I seriously asked myself how I could get into my 60's and never know such an instrument existed. My potatoes came out the perfect amount of stiff and they were lump free and beautiful. My husband loved them. I will make regular potatoes from now on it was so easy. You don't even have to peel them first! Buy it, you definitely won't regret it. Plus you can use it for garlic and citrus too. Both my sister and DIL are now ordering one.

I had seen a You Tube video on how to use a ricer. Looked like something I would like to try. Looked at several on Amazon and read all reviews. I selected this one based on the reviews and the fact that it has 3 sizes, unlike many with only one. Makes the most wonderful mashed potatoes ever. So smooth and easy. Cook potatoes, drain, put through ricer into pan of warm milk and butter....stir! Like none I ever ate! Comes apart so easily for complete washing and storing. Stainless steel. Worth every penny!

This item doesn't even deserve one star!I bought this Potatoe ricer a few months ago to make mash potatoes, but I didn't have the opportunity to use it until last week. I immediately noticed the ricer didn't feel very durable as I normally expect from stainless steel kitchen tools. The first two runs the potatoes went through very easily requiring minimal pressure to push them though. The potatoes were very soft. On the third run, the front hinge broke. Apparently, the ricer was as flimsily as it felt.Because my purchase was a few months back, I was unable to return to Amazon, so I contacted the seller directly giving them an opportunity to correct the issue before I left a negative review. I never heard a word from them.I strongly recommend against buying this ricer or from this company. Poor product & poor customer service.

My wife was sad not to find our old ricer when making her family German potato ball/ dumpling recipe for Thanksgiving dinner. I ordered this one for her so they could make them for Christmas and they came out great. My daughter who is the chef in our house said the ricer worked perfectly and was sturdy. It was also an easy cleanup.

Just used it for the first time today. I'm thinking after a few more uses the handles will bend. Should have did a little more shopping for something better.

I like this ricer. It was not expensive, and works well. But it has already started to show some rust. So I will knock off a star, which I think is more than fair. I was worried that this would happen, and out of the box I did not put it in the dishwasher. I hand washed it, and let it air dry. But there is still some rust. (maybe carefully dry it too?) In this area, you may get what you pay for. The thing about stainless steel - it was not all created equal. The chromium content is probably not enough. But then, consider the price. I have seen this before with "stainless steel" products. Even so, I'm undecided whether to return it. I like the 3 discs, and other ricers seem to exhibit similar problems.

Visibilmente moneta piaciuto ma per schiacciare le patate alla seconda si è completamente distrutto
