They are Crystal glass and are a great value. I would not hesitate to recommend them, a great buy for anyone wanting quality beads.

Q: these can be thoroughly heated right? im trying to find good gems for glass art since opal is a bit expensive

These beads are crystal not poly or plastic so unless you shock them from heat to ice, they should be good.

Q: What's the size of the hole? I have 21 gauge(1mm thick) jump ring and wondering it could go through the hole?

I was able to use 24 and 26 ga. Wire. I hope this will help. It was a challenge to use these beads.
