The strings are nice and thick however the strings are a little stiff at first but once you use them they do loosen up over time.

The pink and purple aren't pastel like the pictures, but I figured they probably wouldn't be. They seem to be a good quality, so I'm happy! I'll definitely reorder, and I hope they add a gold version soon.
