Best Coffee, hands down! And absolutely beautiful purpose behind it!
This is hands down some of the best coffee we've ever had! And I LOVE that we get super yummy coffee while helping orphans (please read the Gobena bio, they are truly amazing!). They have nice seasonal blends, but the Nicaraguan Dark Roast is by far our favorite year-round roast! My husband loves dark roast, but I have issues with the acidity usually, but Gobena's Nicaraguan is smoothe and delicious, and one of the only coffees I will willingly drink black if necessary, without complaint!

Gobsmacked by how delicious this coffee is
I found this coffee initially because of its FairTrade status. The origin, the philanthropy and organic status was such a significant boost to trying, even if it was just “okay”. My current Rain Forest Alliance coffee is discontinued right now and this search was fortuitous. Love to thank previous reviewers as well. I’m a half coffee snob 😄. I love coffee but I am looking for coffee that uses smart packaging and is FairTrade certified. This coffee is a no brainer. It is SO good and I’m so glad I found it. Thank you, Gobena (the person who inspired this brand) and the brand itself for being a true light in this world.

Great coffee
I initially wanted a big bag of any dark roast as my office goes through quite a bit in a week. I bought the five pound bag. This has been some of the best coffee. Dark, not bitter, chocolate tones at the finish. Plus, do like that a portion of the proceeds go to the orphanage in the country the coffee is from, this bag being Nicaragua. The coffee was fresh as well, the really do grind and send direct.

Good customer service
The product came damaged and I was able to get the problem fixed with amazon. They do not accept returns on food items, and that is expected with all the regulations around it, but they took care of the problem and I thank them for that. As for the product, I have tried it before, I like it, it tastes good, and the 5 pounds will last you a while.

Organic, ground, and 5 pounds you can’t get any better!!
This by far is the very best possible deal for organic ground, coffee anywhere.. I can’t say enough about how good this coffee is I go through 5 pounds of this coffee in about a month. I have yet to taste the coffee stale leaving it in its package and rolling it up tight.. I love what the company does, what they stand for, and a story behind this coffee. All of it makes it taste that much better.

Watch your subscribe and save items as they change price (how nice)
This coffee is OK. Its not super great but its better than say Folgers. However, I just noticed that my subscribe and save now has me at almost $10 more without telling me? like no thank you. Its not that great of coffee lol the price point it was at before was about $10 per pound and now its more like $12.6 per pound which is quite the price hike. Sorry I'll pass.
