Very very sticky
Patched my waterbed after my lovely cat used her claws to put in pinholes. These used to be sold in store, but I can only find them online now. The area being patched must be fully and completely dry, as any wetness or moisture will prevent proper adhesion. Arrived fast and in time with Prime 2-day.

Gave it 3 chances, draining for the 4th repair.....
Looked like it would be a handy way to repair the occasional leak a waterbed gets, so I bought a pack. Directions were simple and applying the patch was straightforward. It is important to roll a patch on to avoid air bubbles.1st time I made a repair for this small pinhole, I cut a patch about 1.5" in a rough circle. That lasted about 2 weeks. Cleaned the old patch off, they will pull if done slowly and carefully (that should have been my clue). 2nd time I used a full square; that lasted a couple months, but the water won; I was able to pull that patch off as well (another clue). 3rd, and last try, I cleaned the old patch off, cleaned the vinyl with a citrus cleaner, wiped that off with soapy water, rinsed, and left it to dry for a day. Very lightly scuffed the vinyl with 400grit sandpaper. Wiped that clean and let dry. Very carefully applied another full patch with a small hard roller I use putting veneer on. Patch was weighted flat overnight to allow full cure. That was in late May, this year. So it "held" for about 3 months. Currently draining while I type this. These pre-glued patches might work fine for an air mattress, or something that doesn't hold water, but they do not work for a waterbed mattress, despite what they are labeled.

Good product. Works very well 90% of the time.
Works good if your surface is clean and dry. I had 5 holes in my air mattress and it worked well on four of them. One hole just kept leaking no matter what I did. I used two entire packages before totally giving up.

The Patch Held!
Had help with initially drying the wet surfaces so could find the location of the leak. I needed to 'hold' the mattress away from the bed so used my kitchen pots & pans to give me room to work. Once the mattress was braced away, I was able to use one hand to hold the affected area & the other to dry it & apply the patch. The hardest part was the patch material comes all rolled up & so it wants to roll back & doesn't easily lay flat until it's applied.

Better than Glue Patches
These are perfect for waterbed punctures. They are larger and much easier to apply than glue patches.
