Red Lantern Rosewood Pedestal Stand - (Size 10 in. Base Diameter)

Low quality, costly for a piece of pressed sawdust, or cast-board, arrived with a brocken leg, I have to glue it. Because it will go with a vase for a birthday tomorrow so i did not bother to return.

Rosewood it is NOT. It is a painted muddy brown color. It IS however smoothly sanded and since it is a small 3” diameter, the nasty color doesn’t really show. I have some beautiful old Rosewood pedestals but unable to find the like on line.

I bought the 13-inch to use as extra support for a top-heavy side table (family "heirloom" that my husband wanted to keep) that was way too wobbly on carpet. This stand made all the difference! It is a very solid piece. The table weighs a good forty pounds and the stand holds it with no issues. It has a dark cherry finish. I really like the lip around the edge to keep the table from sliding off.I did a lot of searching for a large base that would suit our needs, and decided to pay the money for this one (it really is over-priced). However, since it works and my husband is happy, I'm happy too.

I don’t know why some reviews are bad. I just received my order and they are lovely. I’m using this under my Ginger jars and they are perfect.

Correct in sizing; ordered size of 31/2 "; hole size of 5/16" to allow 1/8 IP lighting standard, and height of feet allows sufficient passage of a standard SPT #1 line cord,this is all good, so I kept these adequate stands which I use for my electric light sculptures. Heavy, quite unnecessary coating of slightly yellowish clear hued Varathane, not the lightly polished oiled red/ brown surface featured in the photo which I am used to getting.Years of buying hundreds of these things through several suppliers and receiving basically the same quality.This was a nasty surprise.

This is a piece of resin dyed to resemble rosewoodthe hole in the base is too small to thread an American plugbut it did raise the lampswhich it was what I neededI just hold my breathand hope nobody notices

The stand is really quite nice, the only problem is I ordered an 8 1/2 " and got a 9 1/2" . This is becoming a common theme with items fulfilled at the Amazon Warehouse. Last week it was a shower head asked for brushed nickel ....got black. Sent it back. I'll keep this stand and use it elsewhere. Problem is I once again had to order an 8 1/2". and I spent twice the cost. I Hope they get it right....this time.

Bought this jar tray or pedastool for a ginger jar. I saw this on someones Instagram page that added rub and buff to it to give it the gold look. It comes in as the wood. I put rub and buff on mine but it is beautiful without rub and buff too. Love how this turned put for my dining table ginger jar
