Metal Dustpan Set

The product description for this dust pan is incorrect. The product is advertised as being made from stainless steel. It is not. It is made of mild steel as I would expect. When I placed a regular magnet on the pan it held. Stainless steel will not attract or hold a magnet when in contact. I've asked the seller to change the narrative description to either remove the words stainless steel or replace them with mild steel.

Great size and lan is sturdy. I'm writing 3 stars because it came in plastic wrap- somewhat sweats the purpose of me buying eco friendly (metal & bamboo). Plastic is absolutely awful and unnecessary. The other reason is I believe mine is defective. Probably hard to see in photos but the handle and top part of lan ha discoloring and what looks like chipping paint. Will update this if it actually starts chipping as this is overpriced for something not up to quality standards.

This is a very sturdy, well-made dustpan and brush. We bought it to sweep up ashes and wood chips from in front of our wood stove. It works very well for this purpose…it’s well made, sturdy and comfortable to hold. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the dustpan itself, it was smaller than I thought it would be. But I kept it because of the good quality. It does the job!

Purchased this set to help clean up the tile around the cat's second litter box, where the cat tends to kick some standard clay-based litter out. I have another dustpan I'd gotten on Amazon before, "impact products inc 4212-90 12", Black Metal Dust Pan", which always worked well for me, but I saw the pan/brush set and figured I'd try that for the second box in another room. The brush seems very nice, but it seems like the lip on the pan is just too thick for the litter to come up. I tried this for about a week and got tired and frustrated with the fight to get the dustpan to actually pickup the litter. The brush in this set works fine with the other dustpan I have.

I love using this as my main mode of sweeping in my apartment because it is super easy to store, clean, and use. It makes it so that I feel more connected to my apartment, value cleanliness (we now keep our shoes off in the apartment), and value the time it takes to care for my possessions, even if it is our hardwood floor. The best way to use it is kneeling down so I wouldn't recommend if you're particular about your pants getting dirty or have knee problems.

I likely did not read about dimensions of dust pan. Using it for cleaning around fireplace. Dust pan seems rather small for intended job. More my fault for not reading description better.

I am so excited about the product, but so disappointed when it arrived labeled as made in China! 😫 I used it a bit already, and it is in fact high quality and works great.

I bought this set to use cleaning out my rabbit's space, and it has worked perfectly. The soft brush gets up every last piece of hay dust, and the dustpan is sturdy enough to act as a scoop when needed. I am thinking of picking up 2-3 more sets for the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. I would highly recommend these for their sustainability and their quality.

I bought this dust pan for cleaning up the ashes around our wood stove. It works as I expected and is always handy beside the stove. There is a hole in the handle of the dustpan and a piece of leather attached to the brush, so they can be hung up for too.

I'm not sure how to rate the sheerness and stretch of this product (thanks Amazon), but it is a metal pan and a brush with a wooden handle. It's great for cleaning out my fireplace. Good value for money.

All seems good, except the finish on the wooden handle - the finish is a bit sticky and gummy, and also not smoothly sanded or worked correctly with the grain. Scratchy enough to snag something. I can fix it myself with sandpaper, but should not have to. Otherwise it looks nice and feels solid so far - have used it for a week.
