No paddle
My vibe kayak came without the paddle. I contacted the seller with no response. Also, my rod holders were not sealed, there were no covers to keep out water. My husband ordered the same model in a different color and his rod holders had covers per the kayak specifications.I have upgraded my rating because the paddles finally arrived. I really like this kayak. I wish it tracked a bit better, but it is a 10' kayak so there's that. It's fast for it's length and easy to paddle. Pretty stable on rough water, although since it is a sit on top the wind blows it around. You can't stand in this, I don't care what they say; the hatch is right in front of you and there isn't room on either side for your feet. There is no room to stand up..that hatch should be another 6" forward if they do a redesign. That hatch doesn't hold much so it's not a good trade-off for the ability to stand. I bought the deck kit and I'm really happy that I did because it make the deck non-slippery. This kayak is very stable, I didn't worry about tipping out into cold water. The chair is very comfortable, although it takes some getting used to to sit that high in a kayak. The paddles are too short for the height of the seat and width of the kayak, you should purchase another pair at least 250cm, 260 would be better. And now the really sweet spot; these are really easy to carry and launch. It does take 2 people, though, if you are small or female. I almost bought the Vibe 11' and I kind of wished that I had for bigger water and faster speed, but it definitely would have needed wheels like the railblaza c-tug. I own 3 other kayaks and I've rented plenty of other brands and this Vibe is a high quality product. I'm glad I purchased the Vibe but I wish I had followed my intuition and bought 1' longer. I purchased the iisport cover at the same time and that is something I recommend unless you garage your kayak.
