Bang for your buck
If you are an avid Chemex user, these filters allow you getting the most value for your money. Even though you can find "non Chemex" brand similar filters online, I wouldn't risk the taste of a morning coffee for a cheaper version. Filters are very sturdy and coffee tastes as it should be, without any aftermath flavour due to the filter.

Don't Bother With Other Filters, Just Get These and Your Morning Will Go Much More Smoothly!
As a rehabilitated Keurig drinker, I have one of the small Chemed drip carafes, and when the box of filters that came with the unit ran out, I thought I just use the traditional cone filters. After all the whole origami folding project first thing in the morning can be a little challenging if you have not had a cup of wake-up juice. I never realized how much difference a filter could make.In my first few attempts with the traditional cone filter, the filter would collapse and a downpour of grounds when into the coffee. Of course, then I had to pour the coffee through another filter to keep the grounds out of the cup. Not to mention I probably spilled half of the coffee all over the place (cleaning up a mess is worse that trying to fold the filter when you are still half asleep!). I tried two filters but that slowed the process to a snail's pace resulting in cooler water going into the carafe (lukewarm coffee is just the worst). After about of week, I realized I had spent more time trying to shove the proverbial round peg into the square hole and bought a box of the filters. So, my hat's off to the Chemex folks, they managed to engineer a filter that is the perfect thickness that balances the right brew of coffee such that the water stays hot and the flavor comes through and no mess.

Love these for my small chemex!
These are a great fit for my one serving cup chemex pot. These filters make coffee taste fantastic. I quickly fold them up while my water is boiling for pour over (once you get the hang of it after a day or two it's no bother at all). The paper filters out all the "silt" so you get a smooth rich cup of coffee and never bitter no matter how much coffee you use in proportion to water. I love very strong coffee and these never let me down. I am so glad I moved on from French press to chemex. A far superior cup of java.

Good for pour over coffee
Good filters, but the boxes look like they were roughly handled somewhere, some of the filters inside are bent. Nothing that affects filter performance though.

Worth it
Tried some other cheaper filters with my chemex but these are way better the way they fit into the 3 cup one, if you have a chemex 3 cup these are what you need

Credible Review
So many people complain about folding the filters. If you’re that lazy why are you making pour over? Go get Folgers and a mr. coffee if you don’t have an extra 10 seconds. These half moon filters are for the 3 cup, you should not use a full sheet from the larger chemex to filter a 3 cup, unless bitter is your flavor of choice. If you know anything about the chemistry of making coffee, everything is important. Disregard the comments about “reading through” the filter paper. You can have the best beans and still make a nasty cup if you don’t understand. The grind and extraction time is how you get a good cup of coffee if the beans are on point. If the coffee sucks, it’s not Chemex fault here. Rinse your filters first so you get rid of the paper taste and do it right. 10/10 stars Chemex, always.
