It can fit fairly large discs of shaving soap, although I had broken a soap on a rope product into the bowl that was not sold as a shaving puck. For the frugal this item is perfect. Even for those soaps that are fifteen dollars or more they are still cheaper than buying those canned aerosol shaving gels or creams. I always like to use a badger brush with my shaving soap and bowl. It is a good product for the price. I am going to buy for this bowl pre de provence men's shaving soap in tin 5.25 ounce for this bowl. Can be bought at this website. Addendum: This shaving bowl well also hold a 5 ounce bar of soap maximum. I love using this shaving bowl with Chelsea's Sandalwood shaving soap. It holds two of those small pucks when empty. An 8 ounce bar of soap will fill this bowl, but you may have to cut the soap depending on the shape of the soap to make it fit. ADDENDUM:There is another product that will fit into this bowl. I will paste the product name here. eBARBERSHOP Bay Rum Rope - On - A - Soap (Set Of Three)by eBarbershop. There are three wheels of Bay Rum soap, but only one wheel can fit empty into this bowl at a time. This is one other shaving soap to consider. ADDENDUM: There is a company that makes 5 ounces soaps called Mama Bear's shaving soaps. I've already ordered two pucks. I think they should fit this bowl perfectly, totally empty. Won't know until they arrive. 1/31/2015: I have received the two pucks from Mama Bears shaving soap company. The 5 ounce puck fits nicely with plenty of room to spare. So I presume that this bowl could probably hold 7 to 10 ounces of soap (totally filled). I melted in two 5 ounce pucks of Mama Bears shaving soaps in my microwave. Be careful if you do this. The shaving soap turns into a hot liquid in under 20 seconds. Also allow to cool down undisturbed and you will have months if not a full year of shaving soap.

These are great to use for taking off gel nails or sparkly polish when you need to hold the remover soaked cotton wool on your fingers for some time - they just clip on. No more twisting foil trying to hold the cotton wool pad in place.

It's advertised as a beard straightener but as the box shows, its clearly for woman's hair. The heat levels are extremely low and doesn't straighten my beard AT ALL. The "5 Star" reviews are extremely misleading because if you actually ready them, the reviews aren't even for the straightener. They are for other products which makes no sense and seems very shady.
